I'll be there, despite the fact that I'm absolutely terrified. First time having pieces at a gallery, first time being around "toy people" in person, first time talking to SB'ers in real life... An introvert's worst nightmare.
I'd feel like an idiot if I didn't go though.
So yeah, if any of you see a short female clinging to a tall, lanky guy, that's just me and my moral support.

The first time I really talked to any "toy people" was at last year's NYCC, and
everyone was extremely friendly and welcoming. I can get pretty anxious about social situations but having something to talk about makes things wayyy easier.

Beacon is a really cool little town, lots of interesting shops and eats. If you just stick to Main St. you'll find plenty of places to stop in for a drink. Clutter is basically at one end, so just walk down (away from the Hudson River) and scope the scene.
"
Max's on Main" is a popular spot, pretty close too.
I've also wanted to try "
The Hop" for a while. Craft beers and small plates, looks great but it's a bit of a walk (about a mile).

Sweet thank you for the info, we will probably get up there a little early and check them both out.

Some photos of the show snapped from my phone:
http://hellointerloper.blogspot.com/201 ... llery.htmlIt was an exciting yet overwhelming experience to be there. Wish I had gotten more photos, but I got distracted by the big cases in the back and kind of forgot about photo-taking.
Really amazing pieces though! If any of you are in the NY area, it's definitely worth checking out.

All items are now up in Clutter's web shop.
https://shop.cluttermagazine.com/gallery/570Looks like they did something different this show, apparently they don't do lottos but they did this time. No preview list buyer advantage, instead it was opening attendees got first dibs, and stuff is available immediately after opening.
Means that you all get to see professional photos of the pieces though rather than just my quick snapshots!
And I'll tell you guys, Miss Slugsworth stole the show. Many that entered the lotto went home disappointed, because she went fast. HUGE fig, and that purple wig was wild!
