Pogo was the only release at NYCC. I did get a 1 off from him, but it was predetermined. I know of maybe 2 more 1offs he did for someone else. The blanks were a gift, to my knowledge...could have been sold tho.

All in all, I am impressed with BGT. The toys are awesome and their creator is a very cool dude. His paint jobs are unique and fades are on point. I hope to own both head sculpts in the future and maybe an unpaint.

There were 4 blanks. 2 pink and 2 orange. All given as gifts.

I didn't really like these toys when I first saw them last year on IG. However there are a few recent releases that have really grown on me. This being one of them.

Heres my one off I just got from Izumo. Was months in negotiation but was worth the wait. The colors i asked for were inspired by the 1980s classic Street Trash. I also had a special request for him to add the other extra head so i can swap whenever i please . This is the first toy he's ever done with the second head. Im sure now hell be doing that more often if the feedback calls for it but this is the first. I finally met Izumo after months of conversation at Hyperstoic and he's truly a humble really genuine dude. I will def be adding more of his stuff to my collection.

I was super lucky to have picked up on this one. Monster Island and Griz Atom did a great job hosting, and Izumo was very nice, and very humble.

It was a general release. Two different versions, it seems. Though I have no idea what the run numbers were. I wasn't into those ones at all.

i would love to pick one of these guys up but this guy has nearly doubled in price since the first? one has been released

Angelabby raffled off 5 at the store, one seeming to be a chase, then they did another 6 via email lotto, all blind bag so not sure of actual counts on chase version.

This is just what I've seen IG, so who knows.

Thanks so much, Michael. I personally dig on certain painted versions quite a bit, this being one of 'em. I think they have a lot of personality in the sculpt so I'm glad I'm givin' 'em a little somethin' else.

Happen to agree. I think the toy is completely contrived, over hyped, and it's something I wouldn't pay over 40 dollars for.(Even if I liked it.) I'm shocked these sell for more than Grody Shogun toys.


However, and with that being said, you take rad photos. Keep up the good work.

Bryce, I can honestly see both points, and very much agree they've been overhyped recently. Since I've started collecting sofubi toys, though, I very much enjoy heavily textured sculpts and/or more grotesque looking ones. I legitimately like having these guys on my shelf. And I appreciate the uplifting compliments!

Actually warming up to certain releases of these guys, since I'm a sucker for crude sculpts.

I wish Izumo would do a zombified Planter's Peanut homage though, complete with hat, monocle, cane. That would rock. Still totally looks like a peanut.
