I totally blanked on this one.
I blame the beautiful weather for spending the whole day working in the yard and not going near a computer.

This bat run was incredible.

I feel like the bat is one of those toys that always looks good. It is really hard to pick a favorite color scheme.

The paint job reminds me of some of my favorite toys from the 80s & 90, plus Halloween. Absolutely one of my favorite versions so far.

Not sure what they have planned.. the only thing I could think of to 3D scan the original toy is to produce a giant size version?

If not, it must be something different, cause it seems pretty safe to assume that Paul wouldn't veer away from sofubi with his vinyl toys.

I don't remember what their first sofubi is, but the Mockbat isn't it.

Ahh, you're right. I keep forgoting about the Invisible Men. Those are coming along so nicely.

I believe the same vinyl that was used for some of Unbox's first 'soft vinyl' (not hardcore japanese sofubi but basically the same material) figures such as Bullet Belt and Cheestroyer would be used for this Mockbat.. Thee Visible Men aren't "sofubi" either - just soft vinyl.. but setting boundaries on that term is pointless these days. They were in Japan a little while ago and had meetings with Medicom. Could be possible that they are opening a factory in Japan and were looking at locations but I haven't heard anything about that at all and it's purely speculation
