I don't think the "damaged" gary has been posted yet. I find it an interesting proposition, and honestly it really works in my eyes. Definitely prefer it to the regular one. Wonder if we'll see more with a similar treatment... :P

GID Viras?

The only GID Viras i can see online is this one by X-Plus which is unpainted.

Heh...Viras is actually Daiei, not Toho (Gamera villain!). ;)

And I think you might be right, Moog: I think Viras was originally a Nitto or Marusan sculpt that Yuji got ahold of. Oh...and I actually had that unpainted GID Viras from X-Plus at one point. Just not the same as a vintage sculpt though...

Doggone Sanjeev, get outta here with all of your "knowledge" and helpfulness. I think you have forgotten what forum you are on.

But really, I goofed. Twenty lashes with a wet Goji tail and five minutes under Viras' tentacles.

Hmmm a wet Goji tail? My mind must be in the gutter

Finally found an M1 tricycle at an affordable price - however apparently the wheels don't move. I don't really mind this as it will be on display on my shelf anyway. I'm curious if this is a common problem with the trikes anyway?

When you turn the key on my Goji trike the coil doesn't really stay tightened, so when you set him down you have to give him a bit of a push...and he doesn't go very far. There is also a switch on the side of mine but i'm afraid to mess around with it.

Don't know where to post this but apparently two bidders on YJA had A WHOLE BUNCH of love for M1 Giant sized T-28's (Brown & Light Blue). I was shocked at the end prices- think Gorilla Ju rare vintage range (each). I mean don't get me wrong I love my Brown Giant M1 T-28 so much that when I see it I want to hug it but those prices were bananas!

I haven't played with my trikes in a few years. Just tested one of my Matango and Booska. Works perfectly. No need for me to push either one as soon as I set it on the ground and it went for a good 20+ feet distance.

I've been kicking myself not getting them when I had a chance at a reasonable price. May be one day.

This guy showed up the other day, and I couldn't be happier with it. I love that the space capsule comes off, and that it came with extra stickers.

Such a stunner!! :D I am really happy to see one of these guys made it into a SBer's hands. He deserves some adoring love. Oh wow, he is just fantastic, seeing a close up shot finally he is even better than I was expecting. Really impressive colours on superb GID vinyl - M1 at his prime. I confess I feel just a little bit jealous Patrick, but it is more than covered up by how seeing how great he is in your photo, and being stoked for you. A lovely toy; I think what I would really like to see (of course it seems to be a neverending list) is a Yadokarin mini from M1.

Thanks man! I really like contrast between the gid vinyl and the dark orange spray on its belly. I'll try to snap some more detailed shots this weekend.

Hunting down the M1 Matango and Woo is slow going! That brown you have is my favorite.

All the colorways from that original set are just stunning:

Owned all three before, but never at the same time. So foolish of me to let them go!

I've always regretted never having picked up that potted shroom. Such a good gimmick.

David- golden rule is to never ever sell M1go toys unless there is a dire emergency- I have in the past and I've always dreaded it later. Well it's my new golden rule anyhow these days.

I just saw that potted shroom on YJA the other day. M1 Matango are not as easy as they once were to get a hold of. I still need the brown & purple from that set, blood shroom, and the Beams clear yellow head to be complete.

EDIT: That potted glow shroom looks the same as the one I have from this Green Painted version.

So true! I always regret selling my M1 figures and they're the first I think of when rebuilding. It's a mesmerizing feeling having them. The enjoyment of classic characters coupled with the quality of M1 is hard to find in any other line.
