Thanks Kuolio for the sweet Gomora (and Toothaction for the heads up) and Bwana for the Eyezon.

Happy to do my part. Great grabs, obviously, and congrats on the new position.

The Buta Gomora is a beauty! I wanted to grab it myself. But other commitments kept me from doing so.

Mockbat and Sametan drop in today. Super excited to get these. I received the Sunguts Baragon last week. It's super cute.
Originally I passed on the Baragon being offered from One Up. The original retail for them was 3,500 yen. Mandarake had it for 2,000 yen.
It sat there for almost 2 weeks. I needed to grab another item since the first item was only 3,000 yen and I didn't want to add the
extra 500 yen because I was below 5,000 yen. So I grab the Baragon as the filler to get me to 5,000 yen. Boy am I glad I got. It's
a very pleasant surprise. Love it.

Great little haul, Anthony!

A friend pointed that Baragon out to me the other week - I had no idea that SG had ventured even further into licenseland. Happen to know the history of the toy?

Thanks David,

Sunguts has done Godzilla and Gamera toys before for actually 4-5 years now. Usually they are only 1 day license for Wonder Fest. This Baragon was a new sculpt for this years summer WF. They also had a reissue set of the GMK Goji and GMK Baragon at WF for sale.

It is definitely a really cool figure. Although he also kind of has the Sunguts look, the amount of detail and sharpness to the sculpt make him fit right in alongside M1 or US Toys minis. As for licensed figures, there is also their interesting take on Telesdon. Personally, I would just love to see them do some more characters from the Tsubuverse. Really happy that you snagged him, and at that price, how could you not?! Great pickups all around.

Thanks Steve. Here is a better picture of the Baragon with that Sunguts chubby look, lol. Stock photo.

These 3 new sculpts made their debut for TCJ50 final event on August 22, 2015. Priced at 3,780 (taxed) each. Stock photo.

Tsubu trumps Toho, heh, but when a company commits to full suit re-use representation everybody is a winner!

Holy cow, what a set! I'm almost glad that I didn't know about it at the time... almost. Great faces and dreamy paints on the lot of them. Wow.

Thanks for the schooling, Anthony!

How big is the dragon?

Any markings or stamps? Does it feel like vintage JP vinyl or the cheaper rubbery vinyl?

Really interesting item.

Loving this mail day page- the Tsubu Sunguts and the rubber dragon are great.

And very nice outdoor captures of the new Atom batch Psilo. That is the best Itchesnu to date, it will be very hard to top but Atom will find a way.

This really is a heck of a mail page - great looking toys, top to bottom, and lots of nice info sharing between us. Makes me proud to be hanging out here.
