Re: Vintage Mail Day
I always loved this guy, but who wouldn't fall for a giant Cicada monster? Straight out from his encounters with Ultraseven and the Garrison, a vintage Bullmark Alien Bell. (forgive the poor shadows bungling up these pics, but I had to snag the light whilst I had it)Some more pics over in the Bullmark thread.

Re: Vintage Mail Day
Great mail day! Bullmark Missile base. Thought these were a "Unicorn" for many years after passing on one as a kid. Managed to score. Probably one of my favorite mini, the Mach Baron is included with this. Finally decided to give in to some Rabbit Panda Car love after being in denial for a long time.

Re: Vintage Mail Day
Geez, that is true beauty! I've got most of the mini robots but not the pink one or the MB and I had No Idea At All that a missile base even existed. Wonderful score, great pix!

Re: Vintage Mail Day
Superb scores Paul. I am really happy to see that they arrived at last. I was really excited for you, and I appreciate you sharing those pics. The base set is indeed lovely. Simple, but it takes the already cool factor of the MB minis to a whole other place. And as a bonus touch, I love that the bases have the 'standard' Bullmark missile too. That is a really great set, I know I would have spend hours and hours engulfed in space station battles with those if I ever had the chance at 'em. And of course the cars are equal parts bonkers and glorious. I love it. A really nice addition to the collection.

EDIT: Images Removed. [sigh] No, not vintage. I mixed up my mail threads. Thanks for bringing it to my attention. I am kinda glad for the mistake though. Had No clue that Exohead sculpted them. They're certainly one of my favorite grabs of last year. 3x3is9 wrote: Kingboy D wrote: ^ This is actually a modern release. A nice one at that, though. I am glad to own one too. ^ This is actually a modern release. A nice one at that, though. I am glad to own one too. They also made a non-glow set. So many nice items. That Big Eye is great. And I am always tempted to snag some of those finger puppets. I always love your photos. Nice, ultrakaiju. I am starting to appreciate those seijin designs more and more. Paul, glad to see it arrived safe and sound. Awesome set. Don't they also stack to form one tall tower? Show that too please!

I remember passing on the carded Toho version as a kid and always regretted it. I own the Godzilla mini from that set but regrettably traded off the Mecha Goji long ago. I didn't know it was from the set. Love the sculpted rivets and colors used. Missing X3 blobby tiny vehicles. But I'm feelin' no pain! It's my understanding there is also a Denjin Zaboga set. I have yet to see one.

Re: Vintage Mail Day
Damn, this page just keeps getting better and better. Classic Mogunetudon, his buttfish has always given me a large grin. DANG! That Condorman set. So amazing. It fully classifies as being a fantastic SB score, vinyl or no. I am shocked at just how many - and how good! - the accessories are in that playplack. Absolutely everything you would need for an afternoon of evilfighting action! That would require some serious self-restraint on my part to not tear open the package (so it is probably a good thing I didn't buy it). Congrats man, excellent purchase. And a really nice score Aldo! That Jetter Mars collection is stunning. A hard to come by character, and ever popular. Really nice JM family; consider me jealous.

You know how things are, I've considered for a long time that I'm only looking for one more Mars, but haven't seen him a lot, and then I run across something else, like this little pencil topper and well... you know how it goes. I actually have that mechanical Popy JM somewhere but in very bad condition, I should also look for a replacement for that one.

Cheap and cheerful Kamen Rider from fleabay . . . i know very little about these other than i like 'em. These are Popy, right? Please excuse my ignorance . . . I'm not used to 5.5" high toys being articulated at the waist and arms!

Nothing wrong with those Riders at all! ^^^ Common but cool. I swear I think besides the Ultra hero characters (Ultraman Ultraseven etc). the Rider series has to be a close second in toys made!

Re: Vintage Mail Day
Well I haven't done much buying at all since the beginning of 2014. Kind of sucks, feel out of the loop vintage wise, but I love checking this thread to see what everyone is getting. Vintage toy porn is the best! Flynn's instagram is really making me want to join that but still not sure how I feel about their unlimited use of your photos policy.... Anyhow, I may be one grumpy ass person at times but I do realize the value of this board and definitely believe in toy karma i.e. members helping each other out. I'm happy to say another member here made my toy dreams come true with a trade for a toy which literally caused me heart flutters every time I saw a pic of one for the past few years (well one of two- the other being Standard sized Bullmark Tiger 7). That toy is none other than Wakuranba aka Leaf Man. So happy to have him in my collection! Took some quick pics. Unfortunately we have 6 inches of snow on the ground or I would have brought him into a more natural environment outside like my garden for some cool shots (still am in late spring). Thank you very kind member of SB and don't ever let anyone say nothing good comes from being on skullbrain.

Re: Vintage Mail Day
^^Thanks! It's a minor miracle I was able to squeeze him in a detolf shelf afterwards! Had to take him out again for a action battle shot with Lion Maru: You know what subs for a light box you dont have? Throw up a white background screen saver on an iMac and put toys on top of a tissue box. That's what I did for this photo!^

Congrats! I know a lot of people are hunting for that item. Glad you were able to add it to your collection, especially since you haven't been collecting as of late. And with the sword too!
