I've only watched the first 2 minutes of it so far, but I was delighted to discover that the very first talking head in Back in Time, the new(ish) Back to the Future doc, is Dan Harmon!

In case you have an R&M sized hole in your soul that needs partial filling:

Roiland free, so far, but what are you going to do?

Whilst we [painfully] await the new season of R&M, thought I would dig out this little gem as a reminder of the show's very humble beginnings [as an experiment in legal trolling]. We've come a long way, baby (and it also shows we should be thankful for Dan Harmon).

WARNING: this clip is from Roiland, and at his early work, so there is quite a bit of NSFW content.

Pretty amusing to see all the small connections to the show proper now. Anyhow, some temporary amusement only, I know. As good as this is, as a funny homage/parody of BTTF, I think we can all agree that the combined forces of Harmon and Roiland have brought this show to an entirely new level of genius. Bring on season three!

That HarmonQuest one is funny, as he is apparently a gamer(?) and has said he would be interested in doing a DnD movie, but the key plot would revolve around real life DnD-style players who got thrown/sucked in to some type of fantasy realm (which, interestingly enough, is not unlike the plot of the 80s cartoon show).

Well now, that is pretty good. But I don't know that is has much on this,

Jeremys Iron can lick, lick, lick my balls.

Really great interview with series writers Harmon, Ridley and Roiland:

Recorded before season 2 aired but after it was in the can.

Good shit throughout, but the amazing Herzog anecdotes towards the end are a definite highlight.

OH, and they namecheck TerrorVision! We should all watch TerrorVision (again) this weekend.

Yep, Doc and Mharti DEFINITELY NSFW.
And now "lick lick lick my balls" means so much more.

Next season seems so far away dammit

Just another Rick and Morty fan eagerly awaiting the new season. Wanted to say thanks for all of the links and clips, I might have actually watched/listened to them all.

I think that still might be my favourite of all of the episodes.

Here's another podcast thing. Before rick and morty began, Roland and Ridley did a podcast with their fried Jackie called The Grandma's Virginity Podcast. Not quite as good as Harmontown imo, but there's some funny stories and recurring bits.

Everyone has a plumbus in their home! First, they take the dinglepop and they smooth it out with a bunch of schleem. The schleem is then repurposed for later batches. They take the dinglebop and they push it through the grumbo, where the fleeb is rubbed against it. It's important that the fleeb is rubbed, because the fleeb has all of the fleeb juice. Then a Schlameeh shows up, and he rubs it, and spits on it. They cut the fleeb. There are several hizzards in the way. The blamphs rub against the chumbles, and the klubus and grumbo are shaved away. That leaves you with a regular old plumbus!
