So the news is now that Lynch is going to shoot the season as one long script, and then cut it into however many episodes he sees fit after the fact. Also it looks like the Mark Frost book has been pushed back to 2016 and the series likely to air in 2017.

What awful news! She was such an interesting person, instrumental in dear David's life long before he had anything resembling a career. It's difficult to imagine that small town without her physical presence, but she'll surly permeate every scene that we get to glimpse as that world rolls on in front of our eyes.
I wonder who'll end up with the log.

If anyone hasn't had the experience of watching David Lynch's early short films, TCM will be playing three of them tonight (5/7/16) starting at 11:00 PM. Check your local listings because I don't know if I get Eastern or Pacific play times. They'll be showing 6 Men Getting Sick, The Alphabet, and The Grandmother.

For those who don't already know, Lynch's early films are collected on the Criterion edition of Eraserhead, well worth owning.
