Wonderful stuff Deevis!
The first photo is my fav. Looks like he's either hiding for dear life, or about to waylay the poor little assistant. Nice vivid colors and textures too

I like the 3rd! Loving the colors and textures as well ~

Thanks, all! I couldn't have been happier to discover this rusty nook; the unexpected highlight of a sojourn deep into blandest suburbia.
Welcome to the fold, Fedhai!

So lovely, congratulations man! One of the best combinations of concepts, colours, and execution. I would love to see some of these quirky characters realised in full size toys.

Thanks! I also love how he looks in the packaging; I might have to keep him on the wall for a little while before I unbag him!
Full size Butas? Yes please! They'd probably be twice as expensive though
It'd be interesting to see how these sculpts would translate to a standard size...
Fri Apr 22, 2016 6:36 am
Butas are already full size! More than a handful is a waste, as the kids used to say.
Fri Apr 22, 2016 6:57 am
I'm with you on that D. Buta size is just perfect for his sculpts.

^ Agreed, they are little pieces of perfection. But the mind still wanders without reason...

Mon May 09, 2016 7:52 am
Seconded. Those are both some crazy amazing Buta toys, which are heavily sought after (by myself included). Amazing Michael, congratulations on getting a pair of knockouts right there.

Thanks guys, and thanks to the top notch boardies that helped to make these happen for me (bows in deep appreciation).

Astounding additions Michael!
Really wonderful additions and especiaaly difficult to come by these days. Congratulations!

Nice! Congrats on those treasures, Michael.

Thank you Michael!
I'm starting to unpack some of my toys, and came across this very special set!

Dang, those are some pretty incredible toys to dig out, Grace. I just love the dino set and the rainbow colours, but especially those little cavepeoples, man have I envied the set! So nice to see some real gems finally be unwrapped. A lot of guys in those groupings I have pined after. The Thundermask w/ fleshy face is a real winner for me, but so is the Australopithecus lady.
Sat May 14, 2016 12:34 am
I love love the fake Popy Thundermask, but Fleshy Face is a dream in plastic! One day, maybe.
I can't believe that you forgot you had him, ha! So are your Pandora and child on orange vinyl? I've squinted at so many images of that set, but have never had the pleasure of being able to confirm first-hand what the pics suggest.
Sat May 14, 2016 12:41 am
Yes, do tell. In fact, I request - nay, demand - full reports on all these wonderful toys you are digging out, and a continual documentation of the unearthing as the archives of amazing toys become unboxed.

Yes, it's the Orange Pandababs!
Stevie, you know about this one...
Deevis, the Yellow GID Pandababs are here...
I don't have the purply ones (somehow that purple version didn't appeal
)
...sorry for the "packaging" and clumsy photos, but at this stage, I've forgotten how many Butas I have. At this point, I'm opening boxes and trying to grab all of the buta and assemble them into one giant box, until the cases are ready
p.s. Steve, I have to agree, those cavies are the bee's knees!
