Brought this to mind, too:

Little Devil Piggy Bank.
Someone knows more about the maker
Thank you!

I can tell you (if you don't know already) that the character is called Hot Stuff [the little devil], and was a comic published by Harvey in the late 50s and 60s. The creator was Warren Kremer; you might notice the connection in appearance to Richie Rich/Casper, some of his other notable characters.
Unfortunately, other than the fact that it says from 'Träumer' on the back, I am guessing this is the company name, but couldn't find out much more about it specifically (and being such a general word, it is a difficult thing for the internets to handle).

Man, i love Harvey Comics . . . especially Casper.
That hot stuff bank is fantastic. Really nice.
Its sculpting and finish look at least 1990's to me but who knows. I'd be surprised if it was older than 80's.
Nice score!

Thank you guys for all the information and the image of the comic!
I've seen other piggy banks made by the same company (Von Traümer), but I do not know if they only specialized in making piggy banks or also made other figures.

The only other Harvey Von Traumer banks i could find online were these . . . the Casper was dated 1999.
As far as i can tell 'Von Traumer' are actually a Japanese company. The only mention of them online seems to be on Japanese websites,
maybe they just have offices in Japan but it seems likely they are Japanese.

Thanks for sharing that Moog. That would make sense, because all of my German detective work only turned up blanks, which was odd. Interesting connection with the name though. I have to agree with you, the banks don't look that old to me, probably something likely made during the '90s to current day timeframe, based on the look of the materials and the overall design.

^^ Yep, did a bit more digging. They are an 'international purchaser from Japan'.
I suspect the Harvey banks were manufactured by someone like Funko specifically for Von Traumer
and the Japanese market. That would be my guess.

More Tomy Bikinis from the early 90's. These are the slightly chunkier squeaker versions.
Only one has a squeaker remaining the other three have had their holes bunged-up. fnar fnar.
Love these little cuties.

Oh wow, that is a beautiful vintage blow-mold line-up right there.
The white ape with the red and blue . . . . i'm envious.
They are often slightly cruder compared to soft vinyl but have just the same amount
of charm, if not more, i reckon.
I rarely see old blow-mold character toys here in the UK. Thanks for posting!

No idea about who made these or when, i cant find them online. They are well made.
Love the monkey! £1 for the 3.
Vintage 'Fuji Bank' Bank.
There are a lot of different versions of these coin banks, with this
little guy dressed in many different costumes.

^ I love this guy! Super cute. I hate bullfighting but have always loved the matador style
Fri Jun 03, 2016 1:50 am
^^
Yeah, i'm not a fan of Bullfighting either - but he does look pretty spiffy in that outfit.
I got him randomly with a bunch of other toys . . .
It must of been a very popular character because there are tons of these banks!

I am always trying to get the astronaut ones but am cursed, some of them are pretty expensive
Fri Jun 03, 2016 3:49 am
I really love the guy in his happi. But yeah, I can see how these guys might easily get up there in price, they are so wonderful. Quite a lot of the advertising and character stuff can get crazy expensive, so for the most part I am confined to appreciating them through photos and store display cases.

^ Love them! I'll be on the lookout for these adorable banks
Here's some river banks ~

Love the Fuji Bank guys. He is just so cute! I have the astronaut and am always on the lookout for the rest. They pop up pretty frequently on Mandarake.
Took these two out to the park the other day.
