Did some changes and you know what in the end I much prefer the original design of the nose. I added more details like I planned and more that still needs to be added .


Maybe I'll make another head but I'm not changing this, I'll just have to take the comparisons o well.

I've still gonna clean up the neck and bring texture through out. Than these guys are done.

This looks great Rich. Call me crazy but I don't see much of a similarity beyond the left nose and the two head thing.

I am happy you decided to keep the original nose design. The overall results as a whole looks amazing and personally stands out differently than Uzumark's version. You have a home run with this sculpt!

I think at the end of the day you should do what makes you happy. Its pretty clear you weren't referencing any of the existing sculpts. Do your thing!

It's cool to see all the interchangeability of the parts and how a body can serve multiple purposes... Imagine a different set of arms that could be mixed together with the existing Doji arms.. Maybe the Doji body is around the same size as the other standard figures? So many options!!

I wouldn't worry, uzumark is probably done with their figure. They tend to do 1 or 2 releases and then it disappears. If they did do another run it would probably be like 15 figures and then they would retire it. I think there is plenty of difference especially with the body.

The second head is definitely my favorite, I don't know why but there seems to be a certain kind of twisted sorrowful look on his face. Maybe not 100% sure why he exists in such a wretched 2-headed form, sharing one body with his bro. Intended or not, I love it.

Looks good to me. Love the added detail. Appreciate that you share progress pics of the sculpt... Almost a la Ollie... I loved watching that dude unfold.

Question:
Why are the eyes and teeth a different color? Are they a different type of clay from the main sculpt or were they previously formed and added in?

I know some folks have used ball bearings for their eyes in their sculpts. Is this along the same idea? Just curious.

^^Rich always uses real demon teeth and petrified eyeballs on his sculpts.

Hey Rich, are the new 2-headed Doji going to get masks? I'd love to see opposing masks to give them even more personality.

I think Rich said it was going to be a different character just using the new Doji body. Don't think its actually related to Dojisan,its name is Nobu (?)
