one punch man is awesome! highly recommended! i've read the webcomic (still going), the manga (still going) and watched the first season... all are very entertaining!!
I just watched the first few episodes of better call Saul season 2...Just heads up that it's out now on Netflix, and it's nice to be back.
Had high hopes for The Discovery, but was underwhelmed. Interesting idea, good cast, but just kinda fell flat.
New season of Salem is out. Real fun show if you're at all into the Salem Witch Trials and that general time period. The show spirals completely out of control and away from historical accuracy but it's totally worth it. This third season is just nuts so far. Guest appearance from Marilyn Manson.
Wasn't that show cancelled? The old ghostbusters cartoon is on netflix now. I think it's 5 seasons. I loved it as a kid. I wonder how it will hold up now.
taken from Wiki: "On December 13, 2016, it was announced that WGN had cancelled the show after three seasons, with the final episode airing on January 25, 2017"
Thanks! Just looked it up and it was cancelled early enough in the season so they were able to end the series how they wanted instead of it being left incomplete. “We knew this would be the third and final season and were able to craft an exciting climax to Mary’s transformational saga.” Looking forward to checking it out sometime.
"13 reasons why" just reached France this week. We watched through it this weekend with my gf, really powerful. You should check it out if not done yet.
Iron Fist. I could not go past episode 7. It was a grind. Nate loves the comic so he persevered even though he was not pleased with it. He endured all the way to the end. He is disappointed.
Just finished up 13 Reasons Why and I cried like a weiner.. Unbelievable show with a very believable message.
Of course I love (almost) all the TPB adventures.... But is anybody as stoked as I to see the return of MST3K? Haven't watched the new stuff yet, but the old ones are absolute gems.
I was just watching the new MST3K earlier today. I'm sure it's going to get shit, because if you're a fan of the original series, it's kind of hard to accept new characters and actors in all of the rolls, but I honestly thought it was fun and pretty on par with the originals. The first "cheesy movie" just happens to be the dai kaiju classic Reptilicus too, which was a great surprise.
Watch Gantz 0! It's worth it for the Yokai alone, but actually pretty cool little movie. I never watched the old anime or read the manga but if you are remotely interested give it a watch I went in blind and it was a ton of fun.
A movie I genuinely enjoy on its own merits! Not really an MST3K guy, ever, but I can't not watch this new debut; Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland - Gods who walk among us - were the guest writers for this one.
If you dudes haven't checked it out already...The documentary, Lucha Mexico, is streaming on Netflix. Just finished watching it and it's absolutely killer if you're at all into lucha libre. Totally worth checking out.
Am i the only one that couldn't stand 13 reasons why? I tried so hard, but i was so annoyed with the characters and high school lingo, it was painful. only made it about 4 episodes in before i called it quits.
had a friend that said almost the same thing. Except he explained it as being more like Degrassi. I've never watched that show as I've never been into standard teen dramas. 13 Reasons Why was different for me though because it touched on some pretty serious topics. The character development, I found, was very nicely done. That's just me though, but I loved it. Cried like a total baby the last episode.
