Oh ok I get it now. They're in the process of being painted and then shipped. I completely spaced and realized unless your Medicom things don't arrived painted and ready to ship.
I received my shipping notice. But I did do the order through TU. So, I think I like the addition of the blue paint on that other test (?) shot. Wonder if this will be the next release. I don't know if I could see myself owning a whole pile of these, and definitely not ones that close together, but I think it is a cool take on it - the little bit of extra colour brings a lot more to balance the figure.
^ I'm pretty sure that he just meant the next release of FakeBaron. From the recent Medicom preview: Blue belt and... bib? I'm digging the packaging for this first fellow very much: Congrats to those that bit.
Looks like more Fake Spectreman are on preparation. I'm super excited by all of those. It's nice to see the original pachi PVC toys made with soft-vinyl. The Bakura larva sold me on the 1st version. I'm wondering where the blue version is from though. It reminds me of the blue spectreman form the Brazilian comics but the head is really different. I like this blue one a lot. He looks really mean. Funny thing they are licensed by P-Pro.
I wish that the blue one's head came on the red one's body. I love the color scheme and belt on the red one, but the head on the blue is so much better to me.
Awesome indeed. Looks and feels great (pretty good heft to this guy!). Love that every rivet is painted!
So the rest of us can judge where ours are at - How did you order this? Toy Underground? Medicom? Lulu? Some other way?
^ Toy Art Gallery has them, and had them on sale 4th of July weekend, and my dumb ass still didn't get one ( trying to have some cash left for the SDCC....)
Got to say I'm getting more than a little pissed off I still haven't received my Red Baron yet. I mean paid for back in March, now a month overdue. Definitely know who to do a pre order with next time because it certainly won't be Lullbell. Last message I got was two weeks ago saying they would be in the following week and I had to be the one that initiated it. These are out, no excuses. I know Medicom isn't going to hold the toys from them.
