One of the Zoomoth guys put this pic of poly looking vintage(?) Tinkle Tots on instagram. Anyone have more info on them; are they old, reprints or reimagined? YJA and google didn't offer much. The ones with the peehole on the forehead are particularly amusing... http://instagram.com/p/cx5aQNxYIz/

My Sonny Angel. Cast in squeezable butter-soft vinyl (scented like "face powder") and with jiggly eyes.

Oh sorry, I just noticed this was posted in the vintage sub-forum, well if it was a true kewpie, it would be vintage!

    Vintage Pluto . . . about 33cm high.

He's a big squeaker and fully articulated. Possibly a bootleg of an Italian toy.

    :D

  12. Throw some black and white paint on him, then throw a Specials record on the turntable, and you'll be good to go. 8)

    ^^ Nice . . . great packaging too :)

    Here's one i got at the usual boot-sale for 50p. 1960's i would guess.
I like the cheap looking green jewel eyes and the fact it is neither a rabbit or squirrel but something in-between.

Made from some kinda Bakelite plastic.

finally got the last Money Gobbler i needed. this was a series of hard vinyl 9-10 inch banks made by a company called Animals Plus in 1977. they're clearly inspired by Sesame Street, with the most blatant rip-off being "Arny" (who is definitely my favorite of the group.) these are the only 3 i have ever seen, but i guess i didn't even know these existed a couple years ago, so maybe there are more to discover.

    here's the whole group

^^ Those are great . . . like you say, definite Sesame Street 'influence'. The bird looks familiar too.

Here's another boot-sale find of mine. 9" vintage Noddy by Combex. Made in England. Very cute! Probably late 50's or early 60's.

    ^^ Love those!

Here's some cute vintage bargains from a boot-sale. Both are 60's or 70's i would guess.

I think the swans would normally be a set of three but who knows . . .
a lot of vintage sets like that come with one large figure and two babies (sometimes with thin chains linking the babies to the larger figure).

Anyone happen to know who this is? Sorry for the shit photo. The person I got the bigger one (actually a lamp) from told me it was Minilla, but I can't imagine Minilla would be wearing an Ultraman mask... Both are made by "AIKA", copyright C.I.C - N.B.
