"Found local dog online. Dog was really in Tennessee. Adopted anyway. No regrets. Dog makes shanks." I'm a little too enthusiastic when it comes to talking about dogs.
So... I thought that I'd revive this thread considering I think my dog is pretty awesome and I also wanted to share a photo of him.. His name is Bode (pronounced Bodie) and he's almost 10 years old. He doesn't have a tail, he lost it when he was hit by a car (before we adopted him..) He's a pretty awesome Husky. He howls on command, he LOVES to run next to me while I skate and he NEVER RUNS AWAY. He has wandered off a few times but that's completely different from what most Huskies normally do (you're normally chasing them for hours..) He's got a respiratory issue that is shortening his life and I would imagine that he won't be around in the next two to three years.. I have as much fun as I can with him because I know it's not forever... I've got a ton of photos of him on IG. Search for #manyfacesofbode or click this link: https://goo.gl/ad6wCf
In a previous work place, they allowed employees to bring their dogs. It was awesome. I love dogs but can't have one because the apartment building I live in doesn't allow it. I did take a fair amount of pics of the lovelies. Kuma #kumathefluffy - She is a Smaoyed and as sweet as can be. Everyone wanted to take care of her while in office and the owner actually had a list of volunteers. She is quite the princess: View this post on Instagram Teto #tetotheweirdone - We're not sure what kind of dog Teto is but he is kind of a weird dog. He sits funny, has a lot of fur between his paws, big ears, his fur is super soft and fine, and generally looks kind of confused all the time. View this post on Instagram My favorite dog, Odin #odinballoffun - His owner says he is part pitbull and part chihuahua. He is about the size of a big chihuahua, very muscular (about 30lbs), super playful and just a fun dog. I always told my coworker that I'd steal Odin from him one day. Another coworker had a football and tossed it at Odin to play with (he is just a bit bigger than the football) and Odin went nuts. He loved that football. The pic was taken in a small conference room where we met everyday in the morning for Scrum. That was his favorite spot in the room. View this post on Instagram
Chihuahua x pitbull haha how does that even happen... and Teto the weird one would get pats from me all day, look at his furry ears I love dogs but I like to travel and wouldn't like to leave my dogs behind....dont think it'd be fair on em. Luckily the place I'm at now someone has a spirited Jack Russell puppy. I like to amp her up and she goes into boost mode and tears around the living room.
Still unsure how that happens! So glad to see this thread being revived though, got to love some doggos! We should have a cat thread and other pet thread too... Sometimes I need some cute pet photos to offset the negativity in this world, haha.
Pekingese are more forthcoming?...Bats demure eyelids..Chihuahua's like all lip curling and crazy eyed
Dunno how either but he is a handsome fellow. He even had a chair all to himself unlike the other dogs that just lay on the carpet. View this post on Instagram
Oh my god, he is so stubby and adorable. And I can confirm that chihuahuas are crazy eyed, ours is like a frog. Thankfully he only curls his lip at my sister's boyfriend. He's a much better judge of people than my sister is, bahaha!
This thread really, really makes me miss having a dog. I wish I had time for one, but I go on lots of trips and sometimes am gone from home for 12 hours during the day. My 2 cats can deal but I couldn't bring myself to doing that to a dog. Man there are lots of good dogs in this thread.
I'm currently looking after this rascal whilst my brother and his family are sunning themselves in Majorca. He is guilty of extreme fluffiness with egregious levels of cuteness whilst i was watching a Louis CK stand-up special . . . His name is Floyd.
