@evom @xSuicide Squadx I'm reviewing the vendor list and just noticed that Headlockstudio is listed as booth 332.

 

@Patrickg2k Ah, rad! I was under the impression he was boothing with My Plastic Heart, but if he's got his own independent booth, that's even better! Perhaps I misunderstood and it was just meant that MPH was helping get the booth name changed from SSM to Headlock Studio. Thanks, Patrick!!!

Took some time the other day to test the traveling booth out and it works very well, STOKED.

Perhaps a stupid question, but is it best to assume bring cash for Japanese artists and everyone else is fine with credit cards?

Also, I know this depends on the artists, but how does Skulltoys sell? Lotto? Are most artists lotto or just first come first served?

 

most vendors prefer cash. Some are cash only so plan accordingly. Alot of things are sold first come but some are timed sales and lottos.

 

Yeah, cash for JP artists and most others will accept PayPal, card, or cash. The Skull Toys, RxH, PD stuff is usually a total fucking mess that I steer clear of (unfortunately, I love Skull Toys). Get there early and wait in the longest line ever. I’d say that for the most part everything is first come first serve, with a handful of lotteries throughout the day. You definitely need to start grinding like the second u walk in the door tho.

 

Well RxH ain't there so I'm sure that'll thin it out a bit.

I gotta say from DCON I really hated that line. I got line cut like crazy from Chinese flippers, almost went from #20 to like #250 because security was fucking up, and then I have to tell you what artist to buy from without even being able to see the inventory? That was lame as fuck.

 

Anyone going both days? Wondering if its worth upgrading my ticket to two days. Are there usually Sunday exclusives?

 

Just go on Sunday, I’m sure Saturday will be really boring!

I always have my camera on me for these events, of course, but my admitted bias for what I personally collect tends to get the majority highlight of what’s presented at conventions. If there’s anything in particular the board would like to see, and if you feel so inclined, please give a shout of what I can get some images of for anyone/everyone!
