So, first off I'm new here and I'm sorry if I'm breaking a rule I didn't see in the FAQs. Is anyone intrigued by and possibly buying the new line of breaking bad toys that ThreeZero is starting to produce? I'm a huge breaking bad fan and the first figure, Heisenberg, is quite impressive. I don't collect this sort of figure, but it's pretty dang impressive and I may start buying them for the nostalgia. Any thoughts?
Good call, i'm not sure if i would of spotted that on my own. It was subtly done. Just watched ep4 of Better Call Saul and its still great . . . i loved the interaction between Saul and Mike at the parking lot entrance . . . hoping to see a lot more of Mike as the season progresses.
haha sorry I didn't post photos. It's pretty epic right? The details are really impressive, I may have to start grabbing these as they release. Or maybe just Heisenberg and Pinkman.....
^^ Not the kind of toys i usually collect but the detail on that figure is insane! I like the ReAction ones too . . . .
Holy crap - the Secret Origin of Mike was so great! I've been loving this show so far and man oh man, as much as I've been enjoying watching Bob Odenkirk really show off what a good actor he is, when they finally gave us a Mike ep, they dropped that hammer just as hard as I think everyone was hoping they would! I read that the guy who directed the BREAKING BAD ep that first introduced Mike (second season finale, "ABQ") also directed this ep, which I thought was pretty awesome.
It's on netflix now? I saw the first episode, it was alright, they had it on every day though. So there was no way in hell i'd take the time to watch it every weeknight.
This is great @toothaction ! Thanks for sharing. I rewatched almost the entire series a few months ago. Ozymandias gets me every time.
You would need a 1/6 die cast or at least tintype holder shaped like a trailer to store the figures and accessories in when they're not being played with. Mom likes a clean play room.
So what did people think of El Camino? I was not sure what to expect, and also a bit curious to see how/where they would take the story after the fairly clear events of the finale, but I think it actually came out successful. Not amazing or totally gripping, which some of the series was, but a fairly fitting 'episode' in the overall BB story. Not sure it was needed, or intended to wrap things up specifically, but did serve as kind of a nice addition and enjoyable television. Without getting into the details [spoilers] I think some of it was stretched pretty thin (to drag this out into a feature), and there was some overly-heavy fan service moments, but all in all, was fine for what it was. Not a BB movie so much as a final revisit to the world for Gilligan and the cast.
Yeah it was a little dragged out but I really enjoyed it. It was a nice way of giving more without a predictable ‘where are they now’ story.
