Well...Know that the auction is over I'm curious as to what people are thinking.

I don't but also curious to see what you think of it. Does anyone know where he comes from?

Not sure how I feel about the sculpt - I don't like the colors, so it might be negatively affecting my thoughts on the sculpt. I'd be interested to see how much I'd like it in a color combo that I'm into.

And to explain further what I don't like about the colors - I never like red right up against blue. The two colors make my eyes vibrate when they're next to each other like that.

    Curious about this as well.

I personally like the sculpt...I'm just not blow away by it like I was when the 2-headed came out. I'd actually be more interested if the reptilian bird on the header was made.

I like most of it. the shoulders and hips look very traditional which i like. but I dont dig the stomach/chest at all and the way the teeth are sculpted, overly simple. It could just be the parts that resemble a zag that I dig.
Iwouldnt buy one butit's pretty cool.

i love the colors- they seem pretty classic to me.

as for the toy itself- seems out of left field for bemon. this toy looks like it could be produced by gargamel, everything is so sharp and nice and neat. its cool, but not what i associate with bemon. its still a really nice toy, and executed flawlessly

The head- and possibly the entire figure- looks like it is based on an old patchi-kaiju mini figure. The arms on the original were sculpted on to the body, which is why I am not sure how close it matches up. I have a photo somewhere... will post when I dig it up.

Interesting choice by Bemon. I definitely like this more than any of his other toys.

Im wondering if this is the pazuzu he was working on.

Pazuzu is the other image from the bemon flyer back in the day.

He also has appeared as the last character before the "end" on the new bemon shirts/ sweats.

Pazuzu also appears in the movie "the exorcist" and i think is an assyrian demon. Or the pazuzu is the other one on this header card.

I'm pretty sure this is not the Pazuzu sculpt...

Also...The translation I got for the name was just "Space Monster".

I appreciate everything about it. It's also a different direction for Bemon style wise (clean vs. grungy.)

All that said, it's not for me. It's so similar to so much by other repro style companies. This could have been by Marusan or Siccaluna or anyone like that and I wouldn't have known. What I like about the pollution monster and 2 header is his distinct style is really there. Even considering all of the other "sloppy" toys out after those, Bemon's really still stand alone to me.

I totally think it's cool he did it still, and stuck to what HE wanted to do. Cool stuff.

Everything looks better if you put a bird on it!

    That said . . . meh!

I can't but agree with this, not feeling the toy either and yes, when I first saw it I also thought of Marusan (and Garg). I doubt any crazy colourway will make this more appealing to me but still curious to see the next steps.

    It looks very Gargamel-ish . . . . doesn't excite me in any way.

I think the only Gargamel feel I get is coming from the back scales, which I agree are reminiscent of a Zagoran. Otherwise I think the figure is very Amapro, if by way of Sunguts. It definitely has that trademark mixing they do so well of completely different kaiju monsters (e.g. insectoid with lizard). It's got that distinct wacky patchi feel, but executed very well in a classic kaiju toy sense.

I don't have any issue with it, but if this were from Amapro or B-Club, and were just a simple Ultra monster rather than something from Bemon, folks here would not give it the time of day even at a 30$ price tag. I like and think it's fine, but I also like cheap-ass toys few people care about.

I thought it looked like a Zag and a Nakayoshi figure had a baby. I didn't see what it went for, but I'd much rather spend my money on Zags or Nakayoshi.

For what it is, I suppose it's cool. However, as far as it being the new Bemon sculpt, I'm not feeling it at all. Feels really run of the mill to me. :?

looks like a typical b-club toy that would sell for 50 bucks or less

The header has more character and charm than the actual toy...

    a real crap!
the decline of one of my preferred toymaker
I would not spend $ 20 for this toy.
trivial sculpture and also the chromatic taste crowds that often we have seen ...seems to be deceased
    total disappointment!
