Cheap and Cheerful ahoy! Toys and novelties to keep kids (and some adults) entertained at seasonal festivals . . .
I came across these meticulously well thought out and designed mechanical anatomy cutaway illustrations via @Sanjeev 's Instagram. It's hard to pick a favorite because the styles are so different, but I think it'd be Battle Fever Robo followed by Dairugger.
Yeah, i always love the cut-away illustrations . . . . these are reminding me of a Philippe Druillet book i have. It has a few double-page spreads with gigantic robots towering over people . . . its all meticulously drawn and detailed. This kinda stuff never gets old.
Heh...yeah, those posts were meant to introduce a new line of super robot-style cheap toys I'm making!
Nostalgic "Toy Department Store Exhibition" 2012-10-26 In Marugame Municipal Museum of Marugame hall, a collection of Showa of toys from the Meiji "Toy Department Store Exhibition" it has been held. Once upon a time, the exhibition is memorabilia to begin to think that I wish were in the house, it will feel a little was a time slip. November 25 until (Sunday).
This last page has been spectacular. I love the ad with the kid who has the giant beetle on his head, I would like very much to play all the Super Cassette Vision games, and the anatomy pages are incredible. The only toy I've ever had is the Matchbox 'Ranger' truck that had the lion circling in the back when rolled. Superior job as always, Joe! (Sanjeev...sell me one of those Stellar Armor Genzon. Please)
Thanks mate, you are most welcome. I thought i would of run-out of stuff to post here by now, but new scans keep popping-up. I will keep going as long as i can . . . .
