    Well, just lost another enmago, this time by a good deal less, but still a very high piece. However, I got these finally shipped to me, so am feeling somewhat better:

    Great one! For whatever reason, these Garys are actually fairly easy to find - and, unlike most other Buta toys - won't require sacrifices to some underworld deity. Which is especially odd, considering the overwhelming popularity of the character. You shouldn't have much troubles finding his lost companion.

    But do watch out, Robert. That slope is very steep, and covered with oily banana peels.

    There are a TON of painted micros out there. Would be tough to get complete without living in the sofubi motherland and even then probably difficult. Joe probably has them all. :D

    Me, I am just grateful Buta went on a tear and did multiple releases with decent run sizes. I think they are some of the more amazing toys out there.

    Great looking bunch of toys, Anthony. Not only are the Buta micros completely adorable in so many ways, and just so much fun to play with, the detail on them for their size is astounding. And then, when you add paint application into it, well, I can certainly appreciate craftsmanship, in addition to the pure aesthetic and nostalgic love. (And given Oohashi-san's difficulty, minutely executing each of these is truly a labour of love).

    Yoiks, Lee!!! That is just bonkers. Upside-down, rightside up, and from any sideways angle, he is one mighty fine looking toy. Congratulations on finally checking him off of your list, as I know he meets the 'grail' criteria for many a collector on here.

    Looks like feeding time at the zoo, and someone isn't too happy, having woken up from a drunken stupor, still in his undies, and penned up with the animals! Lesson learned: Don't go on a drinking spree, and decide to break into the local zoo in the middle of the night :razz:
