I must have seen Half Life back in the day.Did you play the Underground Railroad in Morgantown? Some of the bands in Pittsburgh I saw were Nirvana opening for L7 and Rollins doing stand up.Did you open for BB on the I against I tour.I was at that gig!

I sorry but I personally can't take these bands seriously. The crucified is a band a friend played at partys to clear it out. His dad was in prison in the 80s(for robbing a bank!) and his dad would send him all these tapes of christian metal when we was younger. He found them and we went through all of them
The most hilarious was a band called "undercover" with the song "god rules". A must listed to record at least once in your life.

But for the record though crucified played alot of shows with DRI.

LOL I actually have heard both Undercover and God Rules when it came out, from what I gather they're the Minor Threat of Christian punk... blazing guitar leads... haha

Although this isn't for a show in DC, I am obviously very partial to it.
    Love it.

i don't like preachy christian metal. totally lame.
but these guys kind of have it as a hidden factor.
okay, the crucified lean a little closer towards the preachy side, but the other 4 aren't.
i try not to make a decision on a band based on their religious beliefs.
like i said, if every song was solid "please let jebus save you." blah blah blah, it would be totally lame, same as any spiritual belief spreading band. except shelter, i still really like shelter....

sorry I just saw this...yes to Morgantown a few times, yes to the Bad Brains "I Against I' gig....I had huge spikey hair at the time and was wearing one of those cheesecloth Johnny Rotten shirts...I got it in Philly.
That Reagan mohawk flyer is one of my all time favorite punk flyers...I have one somewhere. I loved Double-O.
