^^ Yes. There have been only four other releases. Milky white/blank yellow/half-colored yellow and green marbled.
There's info on the Gargamel blog about this new release, so I was hoping for a release in the Gargamel shop but unfortunately it will be for sale on the Buta site.. Hopefully he opens up to doing international orders sometime soon. On that note, what would the reasoning be for certain toymakers to only accept orders from Japan? Do they want to limit ordering so that Japanese customers don't miss out? Fees with foreign orders?
Time may also be a factor. Filling out customs forms and answering emails about lost/delayed packages is time lost that could go to creating more product, especially when you can sell out with strictly local sales.
Just wax, so it could be years, but... ... any guesses? Who has a tail and vagina-heels? Are those new heroes towards the back? We're not allowed to guess, "Zazahn."
exciting previews! Who has a tail and vagina-heels? aboras? We're not allowed to guess, "Zazahn." greenmons?
you might be right about aboras! judging by the legs and tail. I think he's showed the full (?) reveal of the greenmons sculpt before but it hasnt been released yet. hopefully one day soon!
I don't think it's Aboras or Greenmons in the new pic... but they sure would be nice additions to the crew! I never noticed Aboras having vented tendons before - plus, although it wouldn't be Mr. Oohashis style to just pop a new head on RedKing and call it Aboras, that's pretty much all Tsuburaya did. The ruts, textures and size look wrong for a Greenmons - his features are smoother all around, and the width of his base-instead-of-legs would be wider, I think.
agreed on greenmons. my reposting of the the original greenmons sculpt photo was an admission of what is clearly wishful thinking as for "aboras," i wonder what other character has a stepped texture like redking—the split heels are odd. with mister oohashi's penchant for creating whole new sculpts even when the show's costumes were rehashes, i'm still really hoping for aboras. my hopes and dreams of ponies never come true, though, so there's that.
a single-footed, craggy micro—seems to be the most reasonable guess so far. as for the "heroes," i'm afraid they'll turn out to be government/political figureheads!
Hmm I wonder if that second one is actually and earlier pic of the one I own? I notice the slight bend in the leg and I know for sure mine has that. I guess others could have ended that way as well.
