I was just giving this a listen. I was really hyped about it because I love Morricone. It seemed like the first track is the only one that perfectly evokes the old western soundtracks. The rest of the songs were standard indie fare. Nothing terrible, but my impression was that they failed to create something that feels like a film soundtrack.

 

This fugazi / wu-tang mashup is actually pretty good. Looking forward to the rest of the album.

I've been listening to this alot lately too. Dirt Wizard reminds me of Tad so it made me listen to Inhaler for the first time in years.

 

Cro-Mags and Katy Perry all day at Super7 today! Alex has never been more upset that he didn't bring his iPod. Caught him moshing so hard to Katy Perry in the fitting room (not Cro-Mags) video coming soon.

Well thanks to not going camping I was able to catch Red Fang, Danava, Lord Dying, and the last bit of the Rabbits for $6 yesterday! Pretty awesome block party on a perfect summers evening - Danava and Red Fang killed!

Just got the Murder Junkies latest. Its awesome, hilarious, sick, demented and rocks Hard ! Not to everyones taste, not even mine sometimes, but when it is, its the most satisfying un-pop un-radio un-top40 album out. Pure Underground. Any song that has Merl Allin yelling at random in the middle of a song "Tight Pussy? for no apparent reason has got to be listened to.
