Bullmark came out of retirement in late 2009 selling their products thru M1. The following year in early summer 2010 they establish their own website to sell their products directly. Bullmark sells mainly reissues. But have on occasion introduced a few new sculpts. If I recall correctly Aaron was the first new sculpt they introduced in 2010. Thanks. Yeah it's a great looking Ultraseven. At times it appears all red with a slight silvery gloss to it, then you catch the light just right and the head becomes almost pinkish red. It was really thrilling to have Marusan put this out since I think only a few original prototypes are actually out there in collectors world. Very different from the normal gray/red Ultrasevens. I got completely lucky with the help of a fellow SB'er who happen to go by there.
Yeah, that is really a great-looking toy. Glad you were able to score it! Makes me wanna throw on Crystallized Corpuscles right now!

Ok there are a host of new Bullmark toys not even being discussed and that is criminal IMO. I kind of miss pre orders because no one is getting these cool toys stateside anymore and it's a hassle doing pre orders 3rd party abroad. Well maybe not a hassle but... eh, I don't mind using 3rd party buying services for a tangible toy but pre order? No thanks. Someone needs to start having these new Bullmarks and Marusan for sale here in the US that's all i'm saying.... Anyhow. I posted the Kanegon as a bit of an after thought from another page on that site. I think they must of restocked it when they got the Hawaiian version in. EDIT- Why yes it does say restocked in June (using translator). So yes to your question.
Crap did not realize my individual shots of the new Bullmark 31cm Ultraseven were blurry before jamming him into that shelf. Sorry chaps, no way I was going to set up those dominos again: Anyhow super cool toy, and yes I made him fit: Kind of reminds me a little of the removable mask Bullmark Ultraseven.

Anthony I'd love to own all three of those giant toys! It's weird, obviously I'm drawn to these new Bullmark and Marusan productions because I collect the vintage versions, but I think that because these are new and direct from the original companies (sort of speak) they make me salivate even more! So far I've been pretty good, in that I only get oddities that never made it to production- like the red headed Marusan Ultraseven or the 66 Marusan reverse Ultraman. With this new Bullmark Ultraseven, its a new sculpt completely but one that would have fit seamlessly into the old line from the 60's or 70's. I know M1 Yuji advises and helps Bullmark, so we know how he loved to fill Bullmark gaps never made with M1 toys. I find my resistance weakening, but the one thing that drives me away is cost. For the same price on some I could find vintage. If they were more available and not so hard to find (I guess if I lived in Japan the cost would come down as well) I'd pick more up. One thing I have noticed is all of these toys are slightly smaller (the reproduction versions) than the originals. I'm thinking they had to use older toys to remake the molds.
This is my issue as well. Still, I'm not interested in collecting the vintage giant Toho's, so that Pen Select Ghidorah might just have to make his way into my collection! And his price--at least compared to what vintage ones go for--is very reasonable, I think.
