Looks like some of the newer TE dolls will be finished this month and some in February but others are still delayed. I will update once I have more information as it comes in to me.
Two new toys (26 cm each): Bump Golem Double Head Golem Same bodies with different heads. And another version of the Lowblow Golem:
I really, really like the Bump Golem a lot. The Double Headed feels like it needs to grow on me a bit more. And I'm definitely lovin' the new Lowbrow version! Is M - World still the only way to go about getting Target Earth in the states?
I think a part of why I like the Bump Golem is the pointy teeth, pupilless eyes, and the fact that from a proportional standpoint, it looks like it can actually move and stand up!
Andy Golem looks a scream Set him on my wall Andy Warhol, Silver Screen Can't tell them apart at all!
I knew it was this homage right off that bat and that's not a bad thing. Honestly I love these target earth figs a lot.
Yeah- target earth is great. It would be cool if he did a color scheme to resemble the the predecessor
Does anyone care to walk me through how to preorder T.E.? I have read that they have a separate email for overseas customers, is that correct?
When I did it for the original Lowbrow Golem, it was an e - mail address that went to M - World services. I had to decline 'cause the fees tacked on way too much for comfort.
I actually sent them an email for the overseas provider and this is what i got back from them. "Thank you for your order. We were the agent of Target Earth by the last release. However, for now, we are not the agent for them. Please don’t worry. We can preorder your request to Target Earth on behalf of you. Our prices of TE products are different from ones in Japan. Because they include our commission and other costs. VERY IMPORTANT NOTE: The delivery by Target Earth must be delayed. In fact, they have not delivered their products(We pre-ordered them on behalf of our customers in May 2016) yet. At 1st, they announced that these items would be delivered in Aug. 2016. After that, they said us "since we had some accidents, the delivery schedule will have to be changed”. All of our customers have still been waiting for their orders. We heard TE would be delivered new items in April. We don’t know if they are delivered as the schedule or not. We will not be able to have any responsibilities with the delay of the delivery. You will not be able to cancel your orders by any reason. You will not be able to claim this delay to PayPal. If you can understand these conditions, we will be able to preorder your request to Target Earth. We will wait for your reply. Thank you for using our service." So be really careful if you order since these guys have not even received the previous orders placed through Target Earth yet.
So basically they are going to charge you way more than retail for a product that you can never get a refund for if it doesn't ever show up? No thanks.
So that email address that sofvilife has listed for overseas customers (shono-kikaku@m1.ffn.ne.jp), just goes to M-World?
I've only attempted one order with Target Earth and the response came from M - World. If there are any other options, I'm currently unaware of them. Hopefully John can provide some insight soon!
OK, I just got a message back in response to my inquiry to the shono-kikaku@m1.ffn.ne.jp address. It is indeed an email for M-World.
Thank you for the clarification, John! ¥20,000 actually isn't that bad! It was more when I inquired about the first version! I might have to miss out on this one again, though. The timing isn't lining up too nicely with my finances.
The fees kinda put me off from seeking out the bump golem. Otherwise I think he's a fun, mischievous looking sculpt.
This is why m world fees bother me. Their fees increase based on demand. So when they saw the first version, and it was being compared to a nag they rose the commission. Now that it isn't as hyped the fee is less. I like the idea of m world, so I can get toys I normally would not, but I don't like them taking advantage when a toy is hyped.
For stuff that is open order, if you don't have any better options, you can use a buying service like Tokyo Buyers. You'll pay a little bit of a mark up based on price, but it often undercuts M-World pretty significantly.
