I hope you didn't mean Montreal picked up a whole lot more because besides Cole...

I sure hope not. As usual, the Habs did not make a splash this year; but then, maybe it's a good thing, 'cause when they do, it seems its for all the wrong reasons (e.g. trading away great players). Don't get me wrong, I have great faith in the team, and maybe it is just as a fan, but it is always amazing to see what they do with the depth of their lineup. I hope Gauthier has a good long term plan for some of these young guys and prospects though.

Hahaha...I meant a whole lot going on with all the teams.
Habs lost Hamrlik which might be a bad thing. Just saw that Gorges is in arbitration, which might not mean a whole lot of anything. The addition on Budaj in net might turn out to be a big deal.

Is anyone else shocked/sorely dissapointed with the Jets' new logo? First of all, let me say I am an Air Force brat, and love the organisation, what it stands for, and what Canadian aviation has accomplised; were it not for my shoddy eyesight and the requirements for pilots at the time of my interview I would have taken a whole other path. But really, a CF-18? We are talking about a hockey team here right, one that is funded by the private sector? I really just don't get it. Sure Moosejaw is an important base, but it is known for the Snowbirds. The Hornets are based out of Bagotville and Cold Lake. I'm sorry, I just don't see it. It is exactly an RCAF or squadron crest, and does not fit on a hockey uniform. It is not even a bad logo, just wrong.

I am thrilled to see the Jets return, but this is really not a good start. Here's to hoping they have a great season, and get rid of that logo as quickly as Phoenix dropped their abstract Coyote.
