Yuji Nishimura paints up a couple of his toys - A Bullmark style Godzilla and a Matango. http://www.youtube.com/user/kurandofuru ... 9a313DSGxY
Thank you for sharing that. I am amazed by the speed of how he paints and cleans his airbrush so fast. It takes me minutes between each color to clean it out.
amazing video! it was posted here a couple years ago but great to watch again that is actually board member Baikin (he makes the Kumon) visiting M1Go
WOW, totally jealous. It would be so amazing to be inside the workshop like that, nevermind even getting to see the painting in person. I am always amazed to watch artists at work. The true masterpiece comes in making it look so easy, when you know it takes years to master I was also totally suprised at how quickly the pieces came to life. I am not a customiser, so I have no experience on this sort of thing, but doesn't it take a while for the solvents in the paint to evaporate and it fully to set; or does the spray process really atomise it that much that it's really just okay to go pretty much right after application?
thanks for sharing! i love seeing these types of "process" videos and getting a chance to see behind the scenes
Glad everyone is enjoying revisiting this footage- It was new to me when I dug it up yesterday. Can somebody tip me to more prime footage of Yuji? I heart him and his 'lil company.
@ D-Lux it's part 1 of the video that was posted... It's towards the end.. http://www.youtube.com/user/kurandofuru ... pmEIdl9KWY Does anyone know if the American in this video is a board member?
I posted this three years ago: viewtopic.php?f=3&t=20731&start=0&hilit=ever+wonder+how+your+m1+toys+get+made%3F and it's Dennis (Baikin) in the video!
