Imagining October I hope I can say the same, you guys are really lucky. Don't forget about me if any of you choose to pass or something...haha. That Blobpus AA set is a keeper, a very strong collab, I think. From the photos, those two figures were painted so well: I've seen some crazy color combo, glitters and wierd paint app patterns, but this set has one of the best treatment, IMO. Don't go on being too AA purist, Jeff That set is a keeper.
for the completists and variation-hunters.... pic from kadomiumtank I think...... left: black/gold "duo"...right: blue/gold "duo" could be that the left ones are one-offs ? maybe monstocks booth at any festival ?
IL has been getting hit with A-Bombs* it seems. *A= Anraku, thought I'd clarify that for the less-then-thoughtful.
omg i didnt see this variation in the back ...but the clear green(?) glutamine with white hair is also not common...
I THINK the pic if VERY old, like 2006/2007 ? I also THINK it is monstock´s booth/showcase at any event in Japan...doubt it´s a monstock-store pic.... will try to find out where i found the pic and if there is a date.... could be that it´s a pic of CKA´s private collection too...? I can imagine that these variations are monstock one-offs...but not sure....i always see the blue duo in the blue paint variation in collections....but i think there will be board-members who can confirm if it is a monstock one-off or not ? will check .... however, would love to see a good pic of the glut with white "hair" that is shown in the dark corner (back)...
I don't think that's white hair, I think it's gold. Should be this one. http://www.flickr.com/photos/superjkelly/3494771108/
I'm sure you've all seen it but I had to take a look. Here's a pic of the white hair one that I was able to find. Image from kopponigen's flickr
I'm loving my Anraku collection! Thanks to all the folk here that have helped me out. Dako is the newest addition and he rocks the house. I had seen plenty of pics of him but in hand he's truly remarkable.
I personally like the cape better too than the webbed apron. But it is cool that it can be turned around and still look good.
How does the Cadmium sculpt work where the drill dong attaches? If you have one without a drill, is there just an opening there, or some other kind of plug for the joint? (Yes, I'm basically asking for a Cadmium up-skirt shot)
It connects to a protruding shaft.....will take an up close and personal shot tonight and post if someone else doesn't beat me to it
Ah, thanks. So without the dong, there's just a hole there? That's kinda weird. I have to admit tho, if I were going to shell out for an Anraku, a Cadmium would be the one to do it. Don't tell atease
haha...you will catch that fever at some point I'm sure. I'll have to have everyone over soon one of these days and you can look at the sculpts in person.
