Went to the "LEGO Imagination Center" in Downtown Disney (Florida) today


Got everything I wanted from Series 9 (plus an extra mermaid )

I didn't realize series 9 was coming out this year. Are these out in stores yet?? I know TRU gets them early.

 

Target still has series 8 but the LEGO store had plenty of series 9. Haven't been to TRU lately so I don't know

I think series 9 officially came out today. But some stores have been selling it for a while... I'll grab a complete set from Bricklink as soon as the usual retailers start getting their stock!

Oh and Steph, I love your pic! I grabbed the Space Interceptor (?) myself a few weeks back. Just built it today and I love it! Will grab more...

Kevin, did you grab that display from the Lego Boxing Day sale? I hesitated... but they were cheap!

Will post my Christmas / bday loot as well. Grand Emporium, Space Shuttle, Attack on Weathertop... plus some rare stuff!

 

They were on clearance at the lego store for $5 each (50% off) so I got 2 for 2 blue spacemen

 

Really envy u guys getting the new Legos .....still have to wait a bit here to get mine.....those series 9 minifigs rocks!!!

 

Thanks for the heads up guys! was able to score all that I wanted for Series 9 except for the chicken...

I got an extra cyclops that I would be willing to trade for the chicken if anyone is interested.

 

Prices have started to drop on s9 on Bricklink, btw. Got a complete series for $58 shipped.

 

Did you guys read that starting with s11, Lego is going to include "chase" golden figures in the miniseries? That sucks to no end.

 

You're just mad that you can't buy the whole set without much effort anymore

 

I still can, it's just going to be more expensive!

Agreed. People are going to moan if it's in the trade section, I'd recommend whatever...

I need a bunch of series 1 and don't really have doubles (unless I can convince my kids to spare theirs...) but I have extra sets!

 

Have you guys seen the Cobi Military Mini Figures...tons of rad stuff.
