^^^solid thinking as far as I am concerned^^^ albeit everyones fear of 6% worth of fees is gonna get us both set on fire as far as trades go the best I can think of is do a double sale at the same dollar amount to tie each other down with paypal coverage
It's not that widespread of a problem. It's only limited to a handful of people. I think the current system is great. Just wanted a thread where people with known issues selling on here can be dealt with. At least now, it can be searched and found.
That's an interesting idea, since it ties the buyer to their eBay ID and feedback profile. However, the real problem is that people are sitting on their hands for waaaay too long in taking action when someone is not sending them stuff that was promised in exchange for toys or money. If they are not going to air their grievances here, would they be that much quicker to leave negative eBay feedback? Moreover that kind of kills the benefit of forum sales for sellers. I'm not opposed to the idea of a feedback forum, actually, but I think the problem is that it will require a ton of work from the admins to keep people from using it as a personal complaint box. The solution is really to be cautious as a buyer, seller, trader, whatever on this forum or any forum. If you don't trust a person, search their user name before sending them anything. Don't send gift payments. If it's been more than a month and you haven't seen your promised items, maybe it's time for a public thread.
Just letting everyone know that we've been talking about it, and consensus among the moderators is that we're not too keen on having a Feedback forum. Too much work for us, and too much potential for abuse. The "system" as it is now will have to suffice. Remember to be patient, do your research, and if you have a complaint thread (like the selekta_nips one), post it in a forum that doesn't get purged. Thanks for the input, though.
