Latest update shot . . . . i think I'm addicted to Bear Model Bear Model 20-03-12 by The Moog Image Dump, on Flickr
Wow Moog, defintitely a very nice line up. I can totally relate to Bearmodel additiction. The sound Gila remains a strong favourite for me, but your green One Eye is a standout that is seriously making me think I need to hunt down a companion for my GID version
BEAR MODEL FLICKR GROUP I just wanted to say a big thanks to all who've joined and uploaded photos - there's some really great examples of toy photography http://www.flickr.com/groups/bear_model/
Here's a shitty photo of my two little shelf nooks dedicated to Bearmodel - one of my very favorite brands.
My Goodness! I am in LOVE with that Red Peppery Zunou! I had no idea he was a Bear Model, for some reason, I kept thinking he was a CCP figure . Thank you for posting your Bear Models, The Moog. Lots of drool-worthy toys right there. My Giragindo is definitely jealous!
^^^ Mr. Humphreys - Yeah, if I had to choose I think Alien Zuno is my favourite Such a big chunk of quality vinyl . . . . and PaulieVinyl - great selection !! I dont think i've ever seen the dark red one on the left of the Keronia in the right-hand shelf . . . . do you know its name? I really love that green Neo Hedoron too but everytime i've seen it for sale its quite expensive and it pops-up when i've spent all my dosh
"Bakutari" is his name. Not sure what year he was released. Lots of detail. He even has an articulated trunk. Here are some (slightly) better shots of him.
Wow, he has a great body design. His anteater head is really bizzarre, what IS that thing hanging out the top? Like a death ray?
^^^ Bakutari . . . thanks! Love the sculpt and the colorway - another one to add to my Bear Model wants list
Hope this helps in your search: Bakutari = バクタリ I've seen him pop up on YJA occasionally. Happy hunting!
^^ Thanks a lot - that will definitely help . . . Must be a fairly rare sculpt because I don't think i've ever seen one for sale . . . . . . . . and thanks to the most recent new members for joining up to the flickr group http://www.flickr.com/groups/bear_model/
Sweet Ricky, I have not seen that guy before, it is right up there with the Buta sculpt as my favourites now. Bearmodel has sure done some great minis.
Wow! That Pucky really is great! Still don't have any Bear models but there is so many great sculpts to look out for.
Its from this set, and u can only get the mini pucky only from this one. someone is selling it at YJA. http://page2.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/b139989894
Thanks, Joe! o So, Pucky... Inspired by my interest in seeing as many of my toys in action as possible, the other week I was trying to find some episodes of Fight! Mighty Jack, the show in which Pucky appeared. I failed, but I did manage to resolve another mystery that I'd been wondering about. I'd seen a picture of BearModel's Packy mini before, but had never discovered if it came on it's own or was packaged with another standrad sized toy. Thanks to Ricky's pics of his recent score I had my answer to that question... ...but was surprised to see that Pucky's big buddy was Alien Ghose, who I'd always thought was from UltraSeven. The packageing made clear that it was a Fight! Mighty Jack set, but it wasn't until I found stills of the menus from the DVD set (on my failed mission to find footage) that I discovered anything definitive about the Ghose people's further adventures: Just found a great post on Kadomium Tank about both characters: http://blog.goo.ne.jp/kadomiumtank/e/ac ... daaeb940ae
