Yeah, I think the Gargantua bros. are my best score of 2012 . . . . and King Bokoru is a very imposing fellow . . . i'm now looking for the painted version!

Thanks mate, they are definitely my favorite toy company. I'd like to know more about their history but have found very little info online.

The little dude next to Namegon, is he supposed to be the monster the kids drew/ imagined in Ultraman?

Cheers, and yeah . . . they had to tape two boxes together when they sent me King Bockle / Bokkuru
Yes, its the 'Gavadon Larva' that the group of kids drew.

Missed a few choice BM's recently so it was really cool to actually score this beauty.
    He's about 170mm high . . . between mid and standard size.

Anyone scored the GID King Bockle recently but not feeling it? . . . I'm looking for one!

    :D :D

So very nice. I prefer this stumpier version to previous sculpts from other companies. Best pics I've seen of it too. Congrats!

    Wonderful sculpt! Great addition, Moog.

I'm with you, Paulk. In fact, honestly, Even though he's about half his size, I'd seriously be tempted to trade up my full size Taigan for this handsome piece.

Great score on the Taigon Moog. I really wanted him and was giving him some serious debate, but I just couldn't pull the trigger knowing Mandarake was doubling the price on a brand new figure. I have no doubt I will regret it for a long time, but I am sure glad he found a great home.

If it's worth it to you, in the end, isn't that all that matters? And look what awesomeness you have to show for it!

I know I've definitely been a customer of Mandarake to pay more than some would, but when I look at the spoils, I don't regret it at all.

^^ That doesn't mean I think that there are prices that don't reach the level of ridiculousness or that I approve of that type of selling.

Its a great figure in hand . . . compact but nice and chunky.

That is suck a beautiful set. Not that Bearmodel doesn't continue to put out amazing figures, but some of this earlier stuff is really phenomenal. I wish we could still see regular releases of minis and mid-sized figures.

F A N T A S T I C collection Moog! So many great figures there and I love how Bear Model chooses such wonderful and obscure characters. Really impressive!

Yes, I reeeeally enjoyed "Isaac the Pirate!" I have yet to read "The Speed Abater." Since you're a fan of Blain, fyi...it's not available yet but I've pre-ordered; "In the Kitchen with Alain Passard: Inside the World of a Master Chef" written and illustrated by Blain and translated/published by Chronicle Books. Great food, art and writing...what's there not to like. ; )
