Ah, so you decided to go with the more metallic version. That is an excellent glow shot, I think with the striping on him, it demonstrates a perfect balance of paint to glow, so that he lights up and you can still see all the great details, without being plain. Really nice figure.
wow, this is soo fuckin nice!! I cant remember the last time I wanted a toy as bad as this guy.. major congrats yuck! and great pic!
Seems as good a time as any to re-post these snaps: A very happy mail day from a couple of years ago. Pretty sure these shots are long-buried in the mail thread. Bought the littlest Giant Robot from another seller at the same time... but he never showed up! BearModel Bear SOKKO Robo
Agh, I feel a deep pang every time I just think of your sets, and there you had to repost the images. Seriously, as I was saying before, the Bearmodel minis are just fantastic - and these ones prove that beyond any doubt. Great detail, great character, fun, and quality; it is all there.
I am a sucker for metallics, so once you educated me on the version differences, I just chose the one I preferred. This toy was a unicorn to me for years, having missed out once, and then never seeing it again for years (even in collection shots or anything) so it had been my #1 Bear Model want, even more than Pole Seijin, so very glad to finally score. It is definitely nice when toys are bright and colorful in the light, but don't compromise glow. Toothaction, even for Bear Model, those minis are pretty exceptional.
^^^ ooh . . . yet more to add to my wants list. I forgot about those on the top row. I will have to be vigilant . . . you never know when they might show their ugly heads in the wild

Ah finally! Been waiting to see some more photos of this guy. Wow, so much more detail on him on the close up shots. Look at those veins and the texture of the vinyl! He is a real beauty man, and a huge hunk of awesome vinyl. Congratulations on landing him.
^ Thank you, David! Gavadon, don't cry: I need you in my life... <3 Jason, where are you?!? Let's split the set!

Congratulations on winning the lottery! These are definitely really cool, and totally underappreciated. As the only Demos sculpt (at least one of the very few I have ever seen) Bearmodel really did a fantastic job on these guys. I especially love how the whole set of them work so well together, it doesn't feel saturating at all. More like a saucer invasion army! (but a very colourful fun one)
^^^ thanks . . . . i love the way they look together too. The '1,000 cherry blossom' version (bottom right) is on a light purple vinyl. Not something you see every day
