Thanks Slip, trying my best to capture those colours although I've failed with a few that I haven't posted here. I'll try some of the next ones on a black background hoping it will work better. And Pyro, as soon as I cut out some more time I'll definitely post more
Thanks guys, I'll post more as soon as I can cut out some time for more shots. Axo, the colour choice comes from what Bemon did in the first place on his posters. I've always been pleased but at same time a little frustrated with the fact that I can't get a good look at the details on his shots so I thought I'd try and capture more of the ones I have There are a lot of HP that I'm sure are nuts once held in hand!
Ah congratulations on that mix Kuru, I was about to snatch that guy and I think you beat me at it Nice combination of greens and I could've done with both those green arms Not to mention the head, overall great mix! One question: is the light green arm a blend of two different colours? I'm asking because I have a body that looks pretty similar.
Thanks, and sorry. Did you get the pther one with the yellow head? The left arm is one solid color. Not the marble version. I was contemplating putting together a single color or shades of green but decided to keep them original. Tim did one with the pearl white many moons ago. You beat me to the blue with yellow belly from Tim. So we're even Wow, never seen this metallic grey blue version before, amazing.
Nah, I was just after that avocado arm But that is one nice mix, the head looks great too! The pearl white looked wonderful, the holy bemon!! I've managed after a long time to put together this bubblegum one:
You have one amazing collection Rudebeast. After seeing all those various paints, I definitively think this sculpt is the best at receiving different patterns. It may be its quite flat front design, along with a rough texture. Is the way to distinguish a HP, the brush painted leaks at the back ?
Thanks Plastic, brush leaks at the back are one way but not all HPs have them. HPs all came with posters of the series they belong to and are generally one offs. There really isn't any other way that I'm aware of to distinguish them from FP; and there are some pretty amazing FPs out there, starting from your yellow vinyl one As soon as I can take some more time to shoot I'll post the FPs I have too, although they have already been posted in this thread so nothing new to add.
You're more than welcome Mart, here's my last HP on clear vinyl: Quite a stunner and tough to capture due to the clear fleshy vinyl. That's it when it comes to my HP collection, glad you've appreciated the toys and the shots but I can't wrap up without thanking all the people that have got in touch across the last two years and offered me help in finding these guys. And now really looking forward to that new sculpt there's been some rumour about in the last year or so
You did great capturing its beauty! But please make a few more shots and try to capture the clear. Maybe some lighting from the back or bottom. I first heard about this rumour from you I believe. I have been hearing the same thing from a few people,, new sculpt,, new sculpt,, new sculpt.. I can not freakin wait. But then again. Bemon's current stock never disappoints^^
