Hey with a weak dollar, and buyers fees in the mix, I have to choose between this guy, or extra hot pockets in my lunch during the week. You on the other hand could snatch him up and still have money left over to take your significant other to dinner and a movie.
The dollar is weak over here as well. I don't have a special conversion rate just because I'm in Japan. I guess I could go to dinner on your buyer fees though, but an item that goes straight to auction isn't really giving Japan an advantage over the rest of the world!
that is fugly,,,for serious!! i assumed one of the amateur customisers round these parts did it & was about to laugh it off as a really poor effort... but i guess it is an official artistic vision...yikes sesame street crayon version??
too funny! That is exactly what I thought. Just a little too fucking heavy with the paint application on this one
LOL Jeb! I really like the paint on top of the head and would like to see that technique used on future Bemon's. If the face and body had been painted more like other FHP's I think it would have looked great. All in all I kinda like it.
I think it works well for those parts, the swirling sludge, but the whole Bemon done with such blunt, broad and thick paint? Nah. It's a good element but not a good technique for the entire figure I feel.
This. I actually like the solid, heavy paint used for the sludge coming from the smoke stacks... but the same technique used for the face just ruins it for me. Those eyes... yuck.
It's a legit release, and personally I think it would probably look best under a blacklight. I know you guys disagree, and maybe I would feel differently if I owned an older hand paint, but I really like that the artist did something different.
It's kind of an interesting take, but I'd certainly never own it. I'm embarrassed to say that this is the first time I have noticed the head sludge swirls, that's a pretty cool paint application. Wonder how much it went for. Edit: Oh, it's still going. 10... ah ah ah! 20! AH AH AH! 30! 30 THOUSAND YEN! AH AH AH AH AHHHH.
I feel it might be a matter of seeing this one, those pics looks terribly compressed. It's definitely not one I'm excited about although I haven't been excited with many, if not the majority, of the FHP releases. I do however find the paint swirls interesting (at the same time not too keen with the actual range of colours used)... For sure I'd like to see Bemon post some decent shots of his toys instead of all these crappy low res pics that often look like exploded thumbnails.
yeah i know this is kinda old but is the Salary Stacks Bemon about 3" to 4" in height? can't seem to find much or any answer.
