Thanks Sanjeev, I had the doubt because in Club Tokyo show only 4 different colors for the vintage giant Godzilla, but the most similar it's the Silver Highlights, but I feel that does not quite fit in the color.

Yeah, it's always tough to tell when going JUST by the colors. Camera and monitor settings often mess with them, of course, but colors really DO shift quite a bit over the decades due to environmental factors! I saw a bagged Gigan that looked almost like a completely different toy from the hundreds of loose ones I've seen over the years.

My guess is that this giant is real because of the wear pattern on the face and extremities, and also the streaky paint rubs on the bottom of the feet. All very consistent with the specimens I've examined.

We're any of the B-Clubs even on flesh vinyl? I've never heard that, so the exposed base might be evidence enough.

I've looked at other photos of the original giant Goji and I think your theory about the paint rubs on the bottom of the feet is correct.

    Thanks for all guys! :)

As I was swapping out my B-Club for the OG on my shelves, I made an interesting discovery. The B-Club is actually quite a bit smaller than the vintage. I had heard that when they make molds off of the old vinyls, the new figures are always smaller. But I did not expect this much of a difference. Maybe its just accentuated with larger figures. Just thought I would share a few comparison pics:

    Thanks for sharing! :D
By the way the vintage giant Goji looks better than in the auction photos.

A beautiful Gogi Kingboy ! nice comparison and yeah the reissues are always smaller... I notice the arms and legs on your Gogi reissue are thinner too... especially on the profile view.

Thanks, guys. Yes, everything seems smaller, narrower. And the condition is pretty good, except for the typical paint rubs on the face and top of the head. I seem to see those on most of these.

Great to see all the photos and scoops in this thread. I am here to share in the love for the monstrous beauty that is the Bullmark Giant Godzilla:
I finally pulled the trigger on one of these after months of agonizing over the decision.
The colors are just amazing, even with all the paint rubs and wear on mine. I especially love the dark green and black sprays.
The texture on the sculpt is insane! The vinyl is also incredibly soft.
A fun family reunion with the next generation.

I would love to add more of these to the collection some day. I dream of the grey vinyl giant, only 1,000,000 yen! Haha.

Oh, that's perfect! So funny, I was just about to go on at length about how much I appreciate the M1 tribute to this version, as an excellently done - and affordable - partner for big ol' Goji. And then I thought it was a bit much, so I removed the whole paragraph. And there he is! :)

Anyways, really love them both. Your vintage giant is superb. Sure, there is some paint wear, but that is all part of his character, and the vintage charm - I always look at it at a sign of how great a toy is, because it has lasted so long and seen so much history and play. Just think of all the adventures he has been on! I think it also helps this particular guy too, because the yellow vinyl coming through works so well against the darker colours on him, and contrasts the greens, blacks, and reds. And those blue fins and fingers.... tasty! A tough decision I am sure, but a worthwhile one. That fella will be an excellent cornerstone in any toy collection.

@ultrakaiju - You are right about the paint wear giving it a certain charm with the yellow vinyl showing through the other colors. Including on the bottom of the feet!
Do all the giant Bullmarks have the bottoms of their feet painted? I have not seen this spray style on any of the standard-size Bullmark figures, which is interesting.

here's mine, which I got recently. I am so happy with this toy, the most pure joy I have got from a toy since a child. This version a common variant on what has been posted so far. Dark brown vinyl with tan spray.

Congrats @gazpacho for this beautiful piece, I would not say it is a common version, for my is one of the best big goji colorways, I really like the tobacco color of the chest and next to that giant size King Ghidorah looks great.
Thank´s for sharing this nice photos!

@gazpacho - Awesome!! Big congrats on picking up this giant monster. I think the brown vinyl version with the tan sprays looks excellent as well. Great shot with the giant King Ghidorah!

Hi guys, I have a doubt with some of the towers that some sellers or collectors put on some of Bullmark's giant figures, I know some of you are experts in the subject and hope you can help me. I know that the one on the left is the original but I have seen that some figures come with a tower like the one on the right side which has a vinyl membrane between the legs, very similar to the one that came with the Bullmark mini figure set. My doubt is that if they are the same size, the two versions are valid for the same figure or only the one on the left? Thank you!

from what I know, the one that's got the flash cut/legs trimmed was the original, sold with some of the giants.
but the uncut ones, were just sold loose separately without figures.

Yes, according to this info from Super7 issue 1 there are a few different vintage Bullmark versions:

The towers with flashing seem to be more common, and do get paired up with giants for sale. Since they are original vintage Bullmark toys, I do not view this as a negative.

@deafmetal Thank you Mark for all the information, it was very helpful.
I know there is a web page where the volumes of Super 7 are digitized, I am going to give it a read to that volume.

I love this discussion, so thank you for bringing the topic up Roger. And Mark, that is some great coverage with sharing of the S7 article. There are probably some small updates we can add to this list (mostly with a few modern additions*), but basically the short answer for vintage is that - largely because the flashing can also be cut out - I don't see a lot of difference between the 'full' and 'legged' versions of the tower. They are both vintage, and while some collectors might prefer to have the exact pairing of the original release, e.g. flashing removed with the giant Goji, I am not sure anyone can definitively say that such examples were the only ones available contemporarily.

So the simple answer is I would just take it as a variant, versus a mismatch. Having any tower is also a pretty nice accessory to complete the towering kaiju menace. :)

    * I do have a GID version which I think is either 'vintage' or a later era copy/pull. Without markings on these though, attribution becomes difficult.

Good info in that S7 article. I have the tower with the flashing intact. I got it a long time ago in a bagged bullmark akumaizer mini set. They used to be really cheap and easy to get. I display it with my bullmark giants

The uncut Bullmark tower also came packaged with the Rock Bat mini set. These sets used to be less expensive than loose towers. That's how I got most of my towers to display with the Bullmark giants.
There is also a yellow bootleg tower:Bootleg Thread It looks to be the same as the Bandai tower in the S7 article.
Does anyone have a picture of the yellow tower mentioned in the S7 article that came with the giant Bullmark King Ghidora?

Steve, there were a couple Bullmark giant reissues with glow towers from the last decade or two. I am not sure if there were using the M1 recast or the original mold as I do not have a giant reissue.

Here is a photo of the blue tip tower without indentations (photo from YJA):

Regarding the vintage yellow tower, I was really hoping that pristine Giant KG with the bag & booklet on YJA would have had one, but even that one was missing it.

Thank you for all the information guys!
It really helped me so much this information, my doubts are because lately I have seen a couple of giant Bullmarks announced as a complete figure with the Tokyo tower, but of all I have seen only one was the original, but the vast majority of what I've seen were like the second from left to right of the photo that @deafmetal share and what's worse is what there are new vintage collectors that in order to complete the figure they put any tower, I even had to see a Marusan King Godzilla with a yellow tower like the one that @Mark K said, but as I understand it never came out a vintage Kaiju Marusan with the Tokyo tower. I understand the desire of the sellers to complete the figures with any tower because the price of a figure without a tower could be in a range from 20,000¥ to 30,000¥ depending on the conditions while a figure with a tower is between 50,000¥ and 70,000¥. This type of discussions is always good for those of us who do not know so much about the subject and in a certain case to know what we are seeing or buying.

Lovely!! Very impressive, Lee. I imagine you might be able to straighten those out, if you were interested - but actually, I completely love the 'fun' imparted by the various bends; almost a lineup of dancing towers. :)
