My relentless search for Balzac stuff has overturned an online store that seams to deal with vintage stuff and they accept overseas orders.

click on ソフビ for "soft vinyl"
    and 売れ切り means "sold out"

As long as you don't send money as a gift, paypal will have you covered within 45 days. Also, don't ship SAL, because it could take longer than 45 days. Also, disputing paypal with Japanese sellers will make Japanese sellers less likely to sell to overseas customers.

The safest way to go is to use a proxy service like tokyobuyers.blogspot.com. They'll obtain the item first and then charge you, unless its super expensive, they might ask for a deposit.
