Now I think that is just hilarious. Looks to be vinyl, can you say yes/no? I just checked his website looking for details/etc. and it's a ghost town.

Not sure if I'm embarrassed to say it or not, but I'd buy this. Probably will if I can find it.

 

I wonder if the creator thought of the pun before the toy or vice versa. Sigh.

Otherwise I really like the Mike Egan toy. The mole too, but I suspect I like the picture more than the actual item.

Not feeling anything else. Maaaybe the Foster, but I sort of wonder if it's supposed to be a rotten cookie or what. Chocolate chip?Weird paint job.

 

although i wish the leaves were a bit diseased/decayed, deadbeet looks like a fun toy. wouldn't it have worked better in a deep red for its first release? the blue is very nice nevertheless.

Have to say, that Deadbeat is a nice little surprise. Totally dig the food-gone-bad vinyl.

 

Man, do I ever love beets. I actually asked for extra on a salad just last night. The woman who took my order said 'that's the first time I've ever heard that request.' That toy is a huge meh though. I don't collect unpainted vinyl anyway, so I'll reserve full judgement until the first painted version comes out, but I think it's a bit too silly for me (tongue sticking out, bandage on head, etc.).

Deadbeet 1st popped up as a competitor for OMFG Series 2, October Toys' popular minifigure line.

But even though he was designed to be a minifigure originally, I think he translates over to this size & medium pretty well.

EDIT : Glad he went with the zombie look. Definitely my favorite of the two

I love everything about that painting! The little cadaver in the crowd waving hello is genius!
