I bought a few collections when i was a kid, so maybe nostalgia is a factor, but I just find his facial expressions hilarious. Still do. I have a big hardback collection called 'The world of Charles Addams'. Published in the UK by Hamish Hamilton 1992 and in the US by Alfred A. Knopf Inc. Most of the stuff in it is from the New Yorker, its a lovely collection. Admittedly I'd rather have a dedicated Addams Family collection. I've got a whole bunch of Zippy the Pinhead stuff. I remember reading them for the first time, they blew me away. He's so original and really stands out from other, more typical underground comix.
