Thanks, I'll make the changes. If anyone sees anything missing or wrong on the list, please give me a heads up. The list is there for everyone to use as a reference, so let's get it as perfect as possible.
what if i decided to paint it later on?? Here are new photos--but not the Zyurai mummy heads: "The Wonder (Fest and Con) Twins" Form of...
Finally... Technically the Tripasu is not the original clear green release - this one has a metallic sheen over it. A totally cool SBer sent me this beauty...thanks again!
I like that resin staff and mask add-ons! If these are only available---I would 'customize' my clear Tripasu.
At the back of each 'eye', you have to peel it to expose the sticky adhesive. *this is just by looking at it, haven't tried it though.
Andy, you're "light cronic" collection is the kind of collection I wanted. I'm glad you posted pics so that I don't have to actually go out and buy them now I still want that Bakurasu one day though! In the beginning, I only wanted the taipei toyfestival zyurai asu, but after a trip to Toy Tokyo, I got to see Cronic in person for the first time. I was surprised to find that I really liked them so much--the pictures really don't do them justice...but they are very nice! Cool set up!
Thanks folks. LOL glad to provide a vicarious collecting experience. Vombie - that's a pretty common reaction when seeing Cronic figures in person. He goes outside the traditional paint reference schemes for most of his figures, so they're hard to group or classify, and like you say sometimes hard to get a good sense of by looking at photos. When Naoki paints figures in sets or themes, it's usually only 2 or 3 of his characters. But over the course of a couple of years, you can sometimes pull together this, that, and that figure to make a nice thematic set. Another set that works really nicely together are the clear rainbow figures. There's also a cool set I recently put together: green metallic. Black/deep purple is another one I'm working on.
ah, cool. yeah, some of the colorways are what got me interested in Cronic, but I never cared too much for the sculpts. When I saw them in person--the nougaki (sp?) and ankoron, I found the actual sculpts more appealing in person as well. The Baku and Zyurai I haven't seen in person yet, but I've got a zyurai coming and I think I'll probably dig it. -g
Yeah Zyurai is a nice sculpt. I'm a big Nougaki fan. There are some really amazing paint apps for this figure, and it doesn't get as much attention as the "fight figures" so you can usually pick them up for a good price.
