Cronic Lucky Bags....

Any1 know when these will be going out?

 

Sometime this week I believe.
Last I heard they were still being painted.

 

I would be patient here. Cronic releases sometimes take longer than others since Naoki doesn't have a team or factory chipping in with the painting.

 

I think Mark said two weeks from when I paid. That would be middle of next week.

 

Again, give it time. Hopefully the bags will come out in that time frame, but I don't think people should be getting worked up next week with "Is it here yet?" posts.

I've collected Cronc toys for quite a while, and I've learned to be patient. My experience has been that things sometimes do take time, but they work out.

Just make sure to post photos of what you get!

 

Yeah, I ordered one of each bag.

So if it takes Naoki some extra time to pinstripe a few of the blanks he is putting in our bags- blanks he might otherwise not paint if held by time constraints- I say take all the time you need.

In the end, I really hope he can capture the kind of excitement Koji did with his lucky bags!

 

damn you!!! - I really hope some of the figs from x y + z sets will come up for sale/trade somewhere. I dont wanna miss on them pinstripes!

 

The ad said there will be blanks, so I would completely expect that to hold up, regardless of the time situation.

Naoki stopped pinstriping figures more than 6 months ago. But I sure wouldn't mind seeing new ones!

 

and if there ARE pinstripes...methinks anyone who didn't get a bag ain't gonna be getting one of 'em...unless pried from Khanate or Andy's dead hands...

oh lordy! I'm worried about the pain of seeing all the cronic I didn't get from these bags...

but still hopeing some kind cronic-heads will be selling off some of the goodies...

The Japan version LBs are showing up left and right on YJA - some for really good prices and BINs.

Really dig the new Maverasu, Nougaks, Zyurais, and Ankorons. Man, and most of them are painted.... Naoki had one hell of a busy January!

 

beautiful stuff...got some pictures from someone that shows 5 different and equally amazing versions of the green nougaki. really digging the light blue mav as well. hail CRONIC!

considering that there's secret versions as well, there has to be over 20 different pieces all together...what a way to start off '08...

 

That may not be the total count, as the Max Toy bags are set to ship soon!

Yeah, very stoked to see so few blanks. Even the "blank" green Zyurai is a "spotted green" "unpainted" version of the 2007 Christmas Zyurai.

Having said that, I hope an unpainted GID Dorome and Ankoron pop up so I can complete my set!

 

Aye aye aye, I just went back and studied the battery of photos I saved from the YJA sales.

The figures come with cards that say if the figure is "standard" or "secret". Beyond that, some are written "secret 1" "secret 2" etc. I already count at least THREE different versions of the painted green Nougaki. I think it's super cool that Naoki is mixing it up like this, but it sure is going to wreak havoc with completists!

 

I notice an Ankoron with a signed card that says, "Ankoron Special 1/4."
