Yeah I felt extra bad for Theon after the two ladies got him worked up only to *ahem* lose his manhood.
Lol. That was pretty viscious. Every man's dream becomes every man's nightmare. "Mercy! Not the Peepee!"
Yeah, the naked content has increased for sure . . . reminds me of Rome, but nowhere near as over the top as Spartacus Blood and Sand. I suppose if it increases ratings I'll put up with the strain of watching Daenerys Targaryen get out of the bath over and over again . . . its the least i can do
So, um, no episode this week because of Memorial Day I guess? Doesn't really make sense to me, but few things in the television business do.
For a second, I panicked when I couldn't find this week's episode. Did I miss it? Is the season over and I somehow didn't realize? What the hell is all this Liberace BS? Then I calmed down and figured this was the likely reason. VVV
Life: A Users Manual? Fun yarn! That's very giving of you, sir. I'll have to give such tolerance and dedication try.
This show is getting on my last nerve. While I'm not one for mandatory happy endings, it does seem quite pointless to build up the Starks so much only to kill them off all the time. So I guess the Lannisters saw this as a opportunity to trap Robb and Frey was more than willing to oblige. And I'm sick of the spoiler tag so if you have a problem don't open the thread...
Shall I go on on what happens to the Lannisters then? Still, I thought the scene was very well done. My only gripe is that Robb's wife (Oona Chaplin?) was there. She's not in the book, which leaves the door open for more... Door closed here.
Cuttin' the fat. Spoiler Goes to show. Dude should have been acting like a king instead of playing house and being "nesty". You wouldn't carry on like that long in that world.
To be honest i was more upset about Robb’s Dire-Wolf being killed than anyone else. R.I.P Grey Wind. And you gotta love Arya . . . “One day I’m going to put a sword through your eye and out the back of your skull.” She certainly gets to the point So did Catelyn's Uncle Brynden Tully avoid the slaughter? He took a leak and left the room before it all went down . . .
Yeah, what with the different characters being (or not being) at the wedding, it is hard to know what they are going to do with it. As far as the plot is concerned, I am sure all the major points will stay more or less the same - but I was very interested to see how they would handle these past events, filming-wise. Interesting featurette about the episode with Benioff and Weiss' take on filming it, and what it means for the cast of a major production like this ....spoilers.... yadda, yadda, yadda
A lot of people I know are complaining that nothing "big" happened. I got no issue with that because of the Red Wedding in the previous episode. I liked it, because instead of something "big" going down and leaving me hanging it set me up for the next season pretty well. And I love Tywin. Awesome scene. Really makes me wonder if he'll end up dead (Joffery finds a way to wrestle the power) or if he'll just end up killing that kid. I haven't read the books, duh, so please no spoilers. Someday when I'm done reading textbooks I'll get to them.
You and me both. I'd gladly swap these textbooks for books I'd prefer to read! Yeah I was ok with the episode as well, even if nothing too major happened. It tied up a lot of loose ends. Now the wait till next March/April for season 4. Jeez with GOT done, Killing & Breaking Bad done by summer/early fall I hope I can discover something else to fill the void for fall/winter and not be forced to watch Walking Dead season 4.
I'm actually wondering about him now. I hated him for the longest time, but now I'm thinking he has a soft spot for Arya and feels bad for everything she's had to endure.
"Next time you're going to do something like that- tell me first." This scene at the soldiers campfire ^^^, and the Tywin/Joffrey arguement made this episode for me.
Who the hell are these Bolton's anyhow? I get that Ramsay was sent to capture Theon, but I think I hate Roose and him more than any characters now save Joffrey. Hope Theon's sister rescues him and they both torture Ramsay.
Roose Bolton is similiar to Walter Frey.... Always wanting to kiss the ass of the Lanisters, and to be on the winning side.... The Red Wedding was just too upsetting... I knew it was going to happen( read the books too) But when Rob's wife was there, I thought there may be hope. She did not go in the books to the Frey's wedding. But no everyone got it..... Can't wait for the awesome revenge!!!!! I won't say more I am very much becoming a Jamie Lanister fan Still need to watch last nights episode.... I feel like I have to spread them out, Especially since Arrested Development's back on tv... My 2 fav. Shows
