@General_Tsofubi did the color scheme, I just transferred his mock-up to the toy thank you for posting it here
I like the pairing of this Cyborg Zag (from the 2017 LB) and this year's Mecha Zag. I don't know if it was intentional, but there is something of a color swap going on with their metallics.
The paint variations between the two Tetrans from last year's LB was a nice touch. The 'missing' silver spray on the Alpha gives it sort of a bootleg feel. I was hoping that they would do something similar with the 'Tokyo' set from this year, but no such luck. (Probably for the best, as it saved me from buying a 2nd Tetran.)
What's up all. Still in the shadows. Added a few new ones but always on the hunt! I think last time I posted I still had some of these in bags but I decided they all needed to be opened.
Assorted recent things: From GamJam 2024. Thanks to Gargamel and Bwana for keeping these accessible to us internationally. This is the Mini Zagoran painted by Butanohana from several years ago. Of all of the minis in that collaboration, this one feels the most like a Buta toy given the color choice and arrangement. I also didn't realize it was on clear blue vinyl until recently. Although we've had the larger figures in clear blue, I think this is the only mini Zag in clear blue. Comparison of the mystery custom with the matching mini Crouching Zag by Gargamel (and with better lighting). The painting styles definitely seem different, but still, a fantastic job by whoever did the custom.
