It sure does! The pics on your flickr are great, too. The Ooze Bats are my favorites of the lot, congrats to the people that got 'em.
LOL. My personal "worst moment" in the Gargamel line was when pretty much the exact opposite of Ed's experience below happened - I was chatting to someone and said "What do you think of this clear green one off zag vs a Mibora" and they said "don't bother with that, Gargamel has plenty of those hanging around back at the store - go for a Mibora instead". SO I passed on the green zag and went for a Mibora instead, and then lo and behold my "advisor" went and bought the very same zag he advised me to avoid and definitely made my night a whole lot less better Later still I find out the zag was, in addition to being a one off hand paint, was also a one off test pull in a never before released vinyl. I'm a big boy and it was my choice, so I can't complain too much tho, as I did score some exceptionally RAD stuff. But I will be careful who I ask for advice next time
Bummer! I was at the end of the line, cause I had just got there and stopped to chat with Grass Hut, still got a sick couple of Zags though. That clear green sounds so sweet!
I got the unwanted orange mibora, I think it was the last one, But I'm happy with it, the mini resin trashmans rules I'm glad I scored one
the orange miborah is really rad! i only wanted the green more because it's my favorite color nice score!
The Gargamel line was crazy at Preview night!!! I made it to the line 10 minutes after doors opened and most of the stuff was gone or in the process of being sold. It was nice to see how excited everyone was with their pick ups! Congrats to all!
Thanks Bryce. I love the pocket zag, and though it's hard to tell by the pic, he has an amazing sparkly silver vinyl base. And the The Grass Hut exclusive "STOKED ROKuron", painted up for Scrappers by Kiyoka, was the score of the show for me!
It was a secret release on Friday at the Grass Hut booth. You could either buy the mini print by itself or the print and figure set that included the Rokuron inspired by the drawing. Not sure how many figures were released, but the vinyl/paintjob on the thing is insane!
I was definitely surprised w/ the Scrappers Rokuron. If I hadn't picked up the custom one already. Here's some pics of the front and back.
It's absolutely everything I love in a Gargamel toy, and a prime example of what happens when you match great vinyl with a nice, subtle, vintage-style paint job from an expert hand. A masterwork!
The mini Zag I got was a Kiyoka piece... Front and center (Joe's pic)... http://www.flickr.com/photos/fiendsaint ... 742029831/
many thnxs! those are very nice, congrats! anyone knows about the standard size zags & miboras? would love to find kiyoka-only ones, especially the miboras down the road. These 2 look great stealth! i thought the pocket zag was painted in TO colorway.
