Charactics had one and I swear it did not last 30 minutes. BLAST!!!!! I swear, Ojo is becoming one of the most elusive monsters...in every colorway!
With shipping and ebay fees in mind he's probably not even getting more than $30 for his own 'pocket'...
...consistently buying toys and inflating the price. If you want to support it godspeed. Seriously. These things retail for 75 bucks in japan. So it's actually double the profit.. nevermind...it's not even worth trying to explain.
yes they retail for $75, if you can get one. My Japanese friend sat and waited on his computer and still could not get one right at 1:00pm when they went for order online.
IMO biggest issue with the sale in Jpn, was they let people buy multiples... pull down menu goes to 9...rofl...how many people wanna bet the flippers loved that little aspect. Why let people go willy nilly on these...while limiting the eatons to 1 per person?
Maybe I take this a little personally, due to the fact that this is my character toy and all, but yeah... this flipping business leaves a bit of a bad taste in my mouth. I mean, buying the toy, having it on your shelf and hitting some point in your life where you really need the cash and you then let it go, that's understandable, we've all had to do it. But going out of your way to get this thing that genuine admirers and collectors want, only to take advantage of them by throwing it back out there and hiking up the price, it's kinda cutthroat, and maybe a little sleazy. It shows no respect for the art of this, or the hard work that went into making this thing for the collectors. What can you do though? Not much, just stand on a soapbox here and I FART A LOT. Some people have no shame.
I just heard that Munky King has 2 in stock. But the weird thing is, someone was able to put a hold on both of them! This is the first time I heard that Munky King will hold a toy with a pre-deposit. Anyway, just a head's up! GR SF and GRNY also has them in stock now!
How are you able to tell stock with GRSF and NY? I thought they only have webstock for their gallery material?
