Dang, that kills me to know. I called at least five places on release day after missing online sales.
same here, I actually "bought it" twice only to find out someone else had just beat me to it and that the online sites just had not been updated yet.
Sounds like my attempt at getting a Green Hell RV too! I had the hardest time tracking one down on releae day (still haven't). One store that shall remain nameless even told me they had them in stock but wouldn't ship them out. I just couldn't win!
Well, that's what we get for being a underhyped toy store... (It's not mine anymore, but I still work hard at having them carry Japanese vinyl, and it seems to be working!)
Yup, I got told that too. We have them, but they're only for in store customers. Part of me gets it, the other part of me was way annoyed.

So you know for a fact that the person who's selling it got it as a gift? They might have bought it from the person who did get it as a gift. Quite possibly even for the same price they are asking, considering people pay ridiculous amounts for the RV's.
I doubt he paid that much for it, and you are probably right he bought it from someone. It is just wrong.
