Thank you all so much! I truly appreciate it. Times are tough right now but I had a nice and chill birthday. As some of you may know, my personal life has been a bit of a roller coaster since I quit my misery-inducing job of nearly a decade in February. Long story short: I got a new job in early April that I loved, got fired from there in early June (for wearing earbuds and missing a phone call), and am now fighting with unemployment to get benefits while also applying everywhere I can that's appropriate for my skillset. I had a phone interview on my birthday and have another one today, as well as some requests for freelance work, so things are starting to look up. On top of all of this unemployment drama, we're having to find a new place to live. Our landlord texted me about a week ago saying he's raising rent $350/mo, which is illegal, and not renewing our lease come September 1st. I've had no other choice but to sell thousands of dollars worth of toys from my collection over the last several months for bills, and now for moving expenses. It kind of sucks (who am I kidding, it sucks a lot, like, a lot a lot) but you know, toys are replaceable most times, and I literally don't know what I would have done without that option.

Ugh. Terrible. I had a horrible day yesterday, I mean one thing after another. I won't get into it but crazy bad and stressful. Next thing you know the phone rings and it's the vice principal, just inquiring about my son's transportation for school. We sorted it, I told her I had applied through the district for a job there. Today I just got a call from the principal, turns out they really need me and I just finished the interview. It went really well. It's gonna happen for you, I'll put an order in with the big guy. Believe it.
