Finally got around to photographing the JJ family. Don't have all the ones I want, but I'm getting close. Also took one of the GID JJs as well. The GID material Billiken used is impressive: -- jJ
wow, that is a mighty fine gathering of jags. i've always loved this guy, but i too have a problem with collecting a bunch of the same figure, and i can only afford to do that with so many, and jj didn't make the cut. i still would like to get a few of them pretty badass gigabrain releases though.
This would medically speaking be charapsychosis - a condition that cause one to collect lots of the same "character" often mis-diagnosed as fig-o-psychosis which is the aforementioned affliction. but that is an AWESOME shot and collection.
thanks, i knew i had seen this somewhere, and it was driving me nuts (not much but a little) that i couldn't remember who done it. hellopike rules. definitely knows how to stretch the barriers away from conventional paint jobs and make something truly unique.
that just made me spit beer out of my nose! that version of jj would make a great child molester! ummmm, actually, that sounded wrong, because i don't think any child molester would be considered great. but i think you get my meaning....
WOW - what an amazing collection! I never knew there were so many of him. What's the scoop (manufacturer, year of release, etc.) on the group in the middle, including the metallic green one and the Evangelion painted one?
Holy crap. I never knew so many existed. The ones with the red cross on the chest are cool. What's the story on those??
Most excellent collection there, JJ! Glad to see that you have both versions of the Marmit Vinyl Paradise figures too!
Wow - That's more JJ than I knew existed. What's with the Swiss JJ's? And is that Evangelion a custom?
i was wondering the same about the eva. i'm hoping it's an actual production run, gives me a chance/hope in getting one...
the smaller "Swiss" JJ along with the all red one were released by Bandai within the last few years...I bought those two along with a black MechaGodzilla a little over a year ago. It was a set of the three, but each was tagged individually. Not sure if they could be bought outside of the set though. not sure where the bigger swiss comes from. amazing picture and collection...those two bandais are the only JJs I have, but this is really cool to see.
