Big Wave by Doug Hardy, on Flickr
Great photo Doug. Now throw it in the water and see if it floats.
Great photo! Ocean beach during yesterday's giant wave warnings?
p.s. this footage just in 12/17/18, you can see the massive waves crashing over the Pacifica Fishing Pier to the left of the screen (yes they did close public access to the pier). The Mavericks surfing contest was also postponed (waves too unruly)
Thanks all! It was actually around 8 this morning. I heard about the big waves so I gave a shot to go town and try to get some photos with Namira. They weren't as huge when I was there but it was still fun to take some photos nonetheless.
Taken just a couple hours ago.
I’ll be revisiting these two. I feel like I can do them better with both location and exposure/angle. But it was still fun otherwise.
That first one with red head is so friggen good!
@SaintOfSpinners Thank you! Seems to be an overall favorite so far! I’m admittedly pretty stoked on it myself. I had the visual in my head for months, but finally made the hour long drive to get it done.
Super stoked that you took that drive!
Wild Bill's such a dope spot to go for a walk!
@xSuicide Squadx I've already praised your Godesu photos, but that shot of the Izu toy further up is probably one of my favourite toy photos ever.
@zindabad Thanks so much, dude! That’s a huge compliment to me!!! I actually just got my hands on a new neutral density filter recently, so I might try and redo it, and one up myself! Admittedly, I do love that photo, so I set my own bar pretty high!
Does this count as a kaiju in its natural environment?
That WM must stand for “Wonderful Monster”! What great use of a prop!
