If the guy from FARGO is involved then I'll check it out. Looks more interesting then the last few xmen movies.
I just watched the first episode. I liked it ! I thought the story was getting a little cluttered in the second act but a great ending that leaves me wanting to know more about the world legion inhabits. I loved the cinematography ( is it still called cinematography when it's a TV show?) . I thought the music was a little stranger things but it added to the drama in the final act. *****Possible Spoiler!!***** Anyone else think the yellow eyed "demon" is Mojo?
This show is pretty rad so far. My wife and I checked out the first episode on demand tonight and were then psyched to see that a new episode was airing right after. Aubrey Plaza is great. I love that her character was originally written for a middle aged man. When she got the part, she asked that they not change any of the lines to be more in line with a young female character. I hadn't thought of Mojo, but there is definitely a bit of a likeness going on there.
I got a feeling the yellow eyed demon might just be Mojo. I dig the show. Glad to see fox is doing something good w/ the Xline.
I'm pretty sure they say my name in each episode about the same number of times that Samuel L. Jackson has said motherfucker on screen over his entire career. It's very disconcerting.
Sad to see vape frog take one for the team this week. I think he will be the key to the whole mystery behind David's past. Keep both eyes open True Believers!
Holy Damn, those final 15 minutes? What a marriage of vision and craft! Only 3 more slices in the pie left for the year - can't wait to rewatch this one already, and I'm fully prepared to kill whomever I have to in order to secure a second season.
So, I've changed my mind on the yellow eyed demon /Lenny. At first I thought it resembled MOJO, but now I'm leaning towards the shadow king. Another powerful "old mutant" consciousness that buried itself deep in Davids mind.
i'm leaning more towards this. i never really liked the mojo theory that was bounced around. mojo, in my mind, is a totally alien being that dwells in his one mojoverse. dwelling in the mind of a powerful mutant to cause havok seems more of a shadow king thing.
What the hell did I just watch? This show is on another level. Aubrey plaza is creepy as fuck! Half way into the season and I have no clue what the hell is going on and am loving every minute of it!
Heard this past episode was a total brain explosion. Looking forward to watching! ALSO IRON FIST THIS WEEK. WOOOOOO!
So yeah, this show is like the best thing on tv right now. And yeah, shadow king makes the most sense. He also kind of looks like interpretations of the shadow king. Mojo is too strange to put anywhere, unless they start a longshot/dazzler series. Which would be so freaking awesome
Anyone else catching their constant use of circular or triangular symbols everywhere? patterns on dresses, sculptures, logos on shirts...
Lives have been spared! http://birthmoviesdeath.com/2017/03/15/fx-orders-up-another-season-of-legion Duh doy!
